Description
遠心ファン用の典型的なハウジング1のキーとなる特徴を図示する例が図1において輪郭で示される。従来、そのようなハウジング1は、2次元で螺旋アーチの形状に従う形状で構成される。一般的に、ハウジングは相互に平行で離れて配置され、平坦なシートから形成される縁パネル5により周辺の周りでシールされる一対の平坦な側面パネル3と4から成る。このことは、上パネル3と縁パネル5との間、底パネル4と縁パネル5との間と同様に接合部で湾曲角6を作る。そのような湾曲角はハウジング内を通る流体に望ましくない乱れを誘発する。
シュラウド19の内表面は拡張し続け、その間、流路は軸方向に偏倚される。結果として、全体として渦巻き形状の流路が提供され、このことは、図5において、点線27で示されるように、前記ハウジング14を通り流れる流体が渦巻きパターンをとるように強いる。そのような流れパターンは、比較可能な従来のファンより高効率で低騒音である。加えて、渦巻き流内で回転されることにより、流体は、流れ方向での不意の激しい変化を必要とすることなく、流入流れに関して全体として横断方向に向け直されるために押し進めることができる。また、流体は高効率で低騒音でもある。
出願人の同時継続出願で「渦巻き流ロータ」と称して説明されている。そのようなロータは渦巻き流線を提供し、第1実施例および第2実施例によるハウジングに関連して適切に構成されると、最適化された性能特徴を達成できることが分かる。

Claims (16)
- ブロアー、ファンまたはポンプまたはタービン用のハウジングにおいて、前記ハウジングは、ハウジングを通して流れる流体と協働するために使用において適合されるロータと組合されるために適合され、前記ハウジングはロータと協働して運動する流体を案内するためのシュラウウドを含み、前記ロータは、駆動するために流体と協働するために適合され、または、流体により駆動されるために適合される少なくとも1つのベーンを有し、前記シュラウドはハウジングを通る流体の渦巻き流を促進するために構成されるハウジング。
- 前記シュラウドは、ハウジング内を流れる流体と協働するために適合される活動表面を備えて構成され、前記活動表面は2次元または3次元の対数螺旋の形状を有する請求項1に記載のハウジング。
- 前記対数螺旋は、等角比または黄金比と一致する請求項2に記載のハウジング。
- 前記活動表面は、実質的に対数曲線と一致する曲率を有する請求項2または請求項3に記載のハウジング。
- 前記活動表面は、実質的に等角分割または黄金分割と一致する曲率で構成される請求項4に記載のハウジング。
- 前記シュラウドの内表面は、流線または渦巻きに一致する請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のハウジング。
- 前記シュラウドの内表面は、形状が巻き貝属の貝殻の形状に一致する請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のハウジング。
- 前記シュラウドは、少なくとも前記ロータの周囲を実質的に囲むために適合され、前記シュラウドの内表面と、前記ロータの回転中に少なくとも1つのベーンの外縁により掃引される表面との間で空間を提供し、前記空間は最小断面積から拡大断面積に増加する請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のハウジング。
- 前記空間は、空間−対数比で範囲が増加する請求項8に記載のハウジング。
- 前記空間−対数比は等角比または黄金比と一致する請求項9に記載のハウジング。
- 前記空間は、前記ロータに関する軸方向成分から成る請求項8〜10のいずれか1項に記載のハウジング。
- 前記シュラウドは、遠心ロータと協働するために適合される請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のハウジング。
- 前記シュラウドは、軸流ロータと協働するために適合される請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のハウジング。
- 前記シュラウドは、遠心ロータと軸流ロータとの中間の流れ特徴を有するロータと協働するために適合される請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のハウジング。
- 前記ロータは、ハウジングを通り流れる流体と協働するために適合されるロータ活動表面を有する少なくとも1つのベーンを含み、前記ロータ活動表面の曲率は等角分割であるか、黄金分割と一致する請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載のハウジング。
