Claims (14)
- 絶縁性キャリア(210)と、
該キャリア(210)に位置決めされた少なくとも1つのケーブルコネクタ(220)と
を備える電気コネクタであって、
各ケーブルコネクタ(220)は、絶縁性内部筐体(226)を内部に有する導電性外部筐体(222)を備え、前記内部筐体(226)は、第1および第2の導電性端子(228、230)を互いに、かつ前記外部筐体(222)から電気的に絶縁させた状態に保ち、前記第1の端子(228)と第2の端子(230)との間でシールドブレード(106)を受けるように構成され、前記外部筐体(222)は、前記第1の端子(228)と第2の端子(230)との間で受けた前記シールドブレード(106)と電気的に結合するための第1の接点(240)を含む、電気コネクタ。 - 前記外部筐体(222)は、該外部筐体の外面にある第2のシールドブレード(106)と電気的に結合するための第2の接点(242a)と、該外部筐体(222)の外面にある第3のシールドブレード(106)と電気的に結合するための第3の接点(242b)をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのケーブルコネクタ(220)を前記キャリアに固定するための保持クリップ(226)をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 各ケーブルコネクタ(220)に対応するケーブル(270)をさらに備え、各ケーブルコネクタ(220)は前記対応するケーブル(270)を終端する、請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記導電性外部筐体(222)は前記対応するケーブル(270)のシールド(272)に電気的に接続される、請求項4に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記第1の端子(228)の一端は前記対応するケーブル(270)の第1の信号線(235)に接続され、前記第2の端子(230)の一端は前記対応するケーブル(270)の第2の信号線(235)に接続される、請求項4に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記ケーブル(270)は同軸ケーブルである、請求項4に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記ケーブル(270)は二軸ケーブルである、請求項4に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記キャリア(210)と係合して、前記ケーブル(270)を該コネクタの係合方向に対して角度をなすようにガイドするケーブルシュラウド(269)をさらに備える、請求項4に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記ケーブル(270)は前記ケーブルの直径の10倍以下の曲げ半径を有する、請求項9に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 突出した複数の信号ピン(104)および複数のシールドブレード(106)を有するヘッダ本体(102)を備えるヘッダコネクタ(100)をさらに備え、前記絶縁性キャリア(210)は前記ヘッダコネクタ(100)と係合するように構成される、請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記複数のシールドブレード(106)はそれぞれ、前記複数の信号ピン(104)のうちの対応する信号ピン(104)に隣接して配置されるように構成された略直角シールド部(128)を有する、請求項11に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記複数の信号ピン(104)および複数のシールドブレード(106)は、該複数のシールドブレード(106)の前記略直角シールド部(128)が前記複数の信号ピン(104)を実質的に囲み、前記複数の信号ピン(104)のそれぞれの周囲に同軸シールドを形成するように前記ヘッダ本体(102)に配置される、請求項12に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記複数のシールドブレード(106)は材料の連続ストリップで形成され、プリント回路基板(30)と係合するように構成される少なくとも1つのテール(148)を含む、請求項11に記載の電気コネクタ。
