Abstract
【解決手段】両端の電圧差が所定の電圧以上であれば発熱する電圧感応発熱素子と、温度によって可逆的に電流をオン/オフする機能を持つ温度感応素子と、を具備し、前記温度感応素子が電圧感応発熱素子から発生する熱を感知できるように結合されていることを特徴とする接合安全素子;及び前記接合安全素子を具備した二次電池を提供する。

Claims (15)
- 両端の電圧差が所定の電圧以上の時に発熱する電圧感応発熱素子と、
温度によって可逆的に電流をオン/オフする機能を持つ温度感応素子とを備えてなり、
前記温度感応素子が前記電圧感応発熱素子から発生する熱を感知できるように結合されてなる、接合安全素子。 - 前記電圧感応発熱素子及び前記温度感応素子が、可逆的に作動するものである、請求項1に記載の接合安全素子。
- 前記温度感応素子が、所定の温度以上で電流を遮断するものである、請求項1に記載の接合安全素子。
- 温度感応素子が、PTC素子またはバイメタルである、請求項1に記載の接合安全素子。
- 前記電圧感応発熱素子が、ナーダイオードまたはバリスタである、請求項1に記載の接合安全素子。
- 前記電圧感応発熱素子が、破壊電圧の前に熱が発生し、前記温度感応素子が前記破壊電圧の前の電圧で発生する熱によって作動する、請求項1に記載の接合安全素子。
- 前記発熱素子の破壊電圧が、発熱素子が熱発生によって温度感応素子を作動させる電圧より15%以上高いものである、請求項6に記載の接合安全素子。
- 電圧感応発熱素子が熱発生によって温度感応素子を作動させる電圧が、前記接合安全素子が使われる電気または電子機器の最大規格電圧を超過し電気または電子機器が破壊される電圧以下の範囲である、請求項1に記載の接合安全素子。
- 前記電圧感応発熱素子が並列に接続され、前記温度感応素子が直列に接続される、請求項3に記載の接合安全素子。
- 前記電圧感応発熱素子と前記温度感応素子とが物理的に接触されてなる、請求項1に記載の接合安全素子。
- 前記電圧感応発熱素子が、前記電圧感応発熱素子が前記温度感応素子を作動させる電圧で前記温度感応素子の動作温度まで発熱する、請求項1に記載の接合安全素子。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の接合安全素子を備えた二次電池であって、
前記接合安全素子が、両端の電圧差が所定の電圧以上であれば発熱する電圧感応発熱素子と、温度によって可逆的に電流をオン/オフする機能を持つ温度感応素子とを備えてなり、
前記温度感応素子が電圧感応発熱素子から発生する熱を感知できるように結合されており、
前記電圧感応発熱素子が電池の正極端子と負極端子との間で並列に接続され、
前記温度感応素子が電池の正極端子または負極端子に直列に接続されてなる、二次電池。 - 前記温度感応素子の臨界温度が、50℃以上150℃未満の範囲である、請求項12に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電圧感応発熱素子が熱発生によって温度感応素子を作動させる電圧が、4Vないし5Vの範囲である、請求項12に記載の二次電池。
- 1時間の間流れる電圧感応発熱素子の漏れ電流値が、使いたい電池容量値の0.05%未満である、請求項12に記載の二次電池。
