Abstract
【解決手段】 針/ハブ・アッセンブリは、キャップ又はスカート(40)を有し、その前方表面が第1(42)および第2(44)ハブ部係合部間に介在し、それにより補強されている。針(46)がこの2つのハブ部内に形成された連続的チャンネル内に受理されている。針/ハブ・アッセンブリを作製する方法は、第1のハブ部を成形すること、キャップをこの第1のハブ部上に配置させること、針を前記第1のハブ部により画成されたチャンネル内に挿入すること、第2のハブ部をキャップの外側に重ねて成形ないし形成し、前記第1のハブ部と係合させることからなる。この“二個取成形”法により形成されたアッセンブリは、比較的大きい開口部を封止するのに使用することができ、従来のアッセンブリよりも、より効果的に針を支持させることができる。

Claims (27)
- 注射装置のための針/ハブ・アッセンブリであって:
カートリッジの外側表面と係合するように構成された係合部と、開口部を含むと共に内側表面および外側表面を画成する壁部を有する針支持部と、を有するキャップと;
前記壁部の開口部を通る針受入れチャンネルを画成すると共に、前記壁部の内側表面に沿って延びた部分を有する第1のハブ部と;
前記針受入れチャンネル内に装着され、該受入れチャンネルから外側に向って延出する針と;
前記第1のハブ部と係合し、前記針の少なくとも一部を受入れる第2のハブ部であり、前記壁部の外側表面に沿って外側に向って延出させた補強構造部を有した第2のハブ部と;
を具備してなり;
前記キャップの前記針支持部の壁部は、前記内側表面が前記第1のハブ部により補強され、前記外側表面が前記第2のハブ部により補強されるようになっていることを特徴とする針/ハブ・アッセンブリ。 - 第1のハブ部と、第2のハブ部とが融着されている請求項1記載の針/ハブ・アッセンブリ。

- ハウジングと;
該ハウジング内に配置され、少なくとも1つの開口部を有したカートリッジであり、後方終端がプランジャーにより刺入された薬剤を収容するカートリッジと;
蓄積エネルギー源を含み、該蓄積エネルギー源の解放によりプランジャーを駆動させてカートリッジ内を通過させるようにした作動アッセンブリと;
前記カートリッジ中の開口部と覆うように前記カートリッジの外側表面と係合するよう構成された係合部と、開口部を含むと共に内側表面および外側表面を画成する壁部を有する針支持部と、を有するキャップと;
前記壁部の開口部を通る針受入れチャンネルを画成すると共に、前記壁部の内側表面に沿って延びた部分を有する第1のハブ部と;
前記針受入れチャンネル内に装着され、該受入れチャンネルから外側に向って延出し、前記プランジャーがカートリッジを通るべく駆動されたとき、薬剤を吐出させるように構成された針と;
第1のハブ部と係合し、針の少なくとも一部を受入れると共に、補強構造部を有し、これを前記壁部の外側表面に沿って外側に向って延出させた第2のハブ部と;
を具備してなり;
前記キャップの針支持部の壁部が、その内側表面が第1のハブ部により補強され、その外側表面が第2のハブ部により補強されるようになっていることを特徴とする自動注射器。 - 第1のハブ部と、第2のハブ部とが融着されている請求項10記載の自動注射器。
- 第1のハブ部および第2のハブ部がプラスチック材料からなる請求項11記載の自動注射器。
- 第1のハブ部および第2のハブ部が同一のプラスチック材料からなる請求項12記載の自動注射器。
- 前記キャップが金属製である請求項10記載の自動注射器。
- 前記キャップがアルミニウム製である請求項14記載の自動注射器。
- 前記補強構造部が半径方向に延出した複数のリブである請求項10記載の自動注射器。
- 第2のハブ部が更に、針に沿って延びた支持部を有する請求項10記載の自動注射器。
- 前記針受入れチャンネルが前記キャップの内側からその外側への連続的流路を提供するものである請求項10記載の自動注射器。
- 前記カートリッジが2つの薬剤区域を有する請求項10記載の自動注射器。
- 前記薬剤区域の1つがウエット型薬剤成分を収容するよう構成され、他方の薬剤区域がドライ型薬剤区域を収容するよう構成されている請求項19記載の自動注射器。
- 前記カートリッジ内の少なくとも1つの開口部が前記ドライ型薬剤区域内にある請求項20記載の自動注射器。
- 針/ハブ・アッセンブリを作製する方法であって;
第1のハブ部を形成する工程と;
開口部を有するキャップを用意する工程と;
第1のハブ部を、その一部がキャップ内の開口部を通って延出するように配置させる工程と;
針を前記第1のハブ部により画成されたチャンネル内に配置させる工程と;
キャップの外側表面上に第2のハブ部を形成し、それにより、該第2のハブ部が前記第1のハブ部と係合し、前記キャップの外側表面の少なくとも一部上に延出するようにする工程と;
を含む方法。 - 前記の第1のハブ部を形成する工程が、該第1のハブ部を射出成形することからなる請求項22記載の方法。
- 前記の第2のハブ部を形成する工程が、該第2のハブ部を射出成形することからなる請求項22記載の方法。
- 前記チャンネル内に針を挿入させた後、かつ、前記第2のハブ部を形成する前に、前記アッセンブリを、該第2のハブ部を画定するキャビティを有する第2の型へ移動させる工程を更に具備してなる請求項22記載の方法。
- 第2のハブ部の形成の間に第1のハブ部の一部を溶融させ、それにより溶融区域が該第1のハブ部を該第2のハブ部に固定するように形成されている請求項22記載の方法。
- 自動注射器を組立てる方法であって:
ドライ型薬剤区域内の開口部を使用して、ドライ型薬剤区域にドライ型薬剤成分を充填する工程と;
請求項22に記載の針/ハブ・アッセンブリを前記開口部上に配置させることにより、該ドライ型薬剤区域内の開口部を封止する工程と;
を具備してなる方法。
