Claims (25)
- 光学デバイスであって、
光の波を放出する表示源、
光拡散体、
結像光学モジュール、及び
当該光学デバイスからの出力開口
を含む光学デバイスにおいて、
該光拡散体は、光の不均一な拡散体であり、
該結像光学モジュールは、少なくとも一個の光を収束させるレンズであり、且つ
該全体の表示源からの光の波は、該出力開口を覆う
ことを特徴とする光学デバイス。 - 前記光拡散体の明るさは、目視の角度に依存する、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記表示から現れる光は、有限の円錐の内側で集中させられる、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記表示源は、LCDである、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記光拡散体は、角度的に選択的な拡散体をさらに含む、請求項4に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記角度的に選択的な拡散体は、ホログラフィーの拡散体である、請求項5に記載の光学デバイス。
- 光源をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記光源からの光は、前記角度的な選択的な拡散体を照明するために、前記少なくとも一個の収束させるレンズによって収束させられる、請求項7に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記光源からの光は、前記角度的に選択的な拡散体を照明するために、前記少なくとも一個の収束させるレンズによってコリメートされる、請求項8に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記角度的に選択的な拡散体からの光は、前記LCDを照明する、請求項7に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記LCDからの像は、前記結像光学モジュールによって、前記出力開口へ、結像させられる、請求項4に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記LCDからの像は、前記結像光学モジュールによって、前記出力開口へ、コリメートされる、請求項11に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記少なくとも一個の収束させるレンズの焦点距離は、前記表示源からの光の発散を決定するように、設定される、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記光表示源は、光のピクセルの配列であり、且つ、
前記光拡散体は、前記表示源のピクセルと整列されたマイクロレンズの配列である、
請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。 - 前記表示源は、OLEDである、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記OLEDにおけるピクセルの放出分布関数は、各々のピクセルが、所定の角度へと発散することを引き起こす、請求項8に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記結像光学モジュールは、テレセントリックレンズである、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 具体的な明るさは、各々の光学デバイスについて設定される、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記結像光学モジュールのテレセントリック性は、少なくとも前記具体的な明るさに帰着するように、設定される、請求項18に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記結像光学モジュールの焦点距離は、少なくとも前記具体的な明るさに帰着するように、設定される、請求項18に記載の光学デバイス。
- 前記光拡散体は、観察者のアイモーションボックスに到達するために、前記表示源から現れる光を所定の方向へと拡散させる、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 光を透過させる基体をさらに含み、
該基体は、光を入射させる表面及び該基体の外への光を結合させるための該基体の内側に位置させられる少なくとも一個の部分的に偏向させる表面を有し、
前記出力開口は、該光を入射させる表面に隣接して前記基体へ付けられる、
請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。 - 内部全反射によって前記表示源からの光を前記基体へと結合させるための光学手段をさらに含む、請求項22に記載の光学デバイス。
- 光学的な表示の明るさを改善するための方法であって、
光学デバイスを提供することを含み、並びに
該光学デバイスは、光の波を放出する表示源、光拡散体、結像光学モジュール、及び、該光学デバイスからの出力開口を含み、

該出力開口を通過する該表示源から現れる光の部分を光学的に増加させるために、該表示源から現れる光を該拡散体へ収束させること
を含む方法。 - 前記変位させる源と前記開口との間に光拡散体を導入すること、及び
前記表示源から現れる光の角度的な不均一な拡散を引き起こすこと
をさらに含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
