Description
Claims (9)
- 第1の透明支持板と第2の支持板の間の空間内に、相互に不混和性の、少なくとも第1の流体と第2の流体を有する光スイッチであって、
前記第2の流体は、電気伝導性または極性があり、少なくとも一つの前記支持板上の装置は、前記空間内に、前記第2の流体に対する濡れ性の低い表面領域を有し、該濡れ性の低い表面領域は、濡れ性の高い表面領域を有する領域に囲まれることを特徴とする光スイッチ。 - 前記濡れ性の低い表面領域は、壁に設置される濡れ性の高い表面によって分離されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光スイッチ。
- 前記壁の下側部分は、前記第1の流体によって、濡れやすいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光スイッチ。
- 前記壁は、最大20μmの高さを有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光スイッチ。
- 第1の透明支持板と第2の支持板の間の空間内に、相互に不混和性の、少なくとも第1の流体と第2の流体とを有する画像素子を有する表示装置であって、
前記第2の流体は、電気伝導性または極性があり、画像素子は、請求項1または2に記載の光スイッチを有することを特徴とする、表示装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の光学装置を製作する方法であって、
前記一つの支持板の少なくとも一部は、レーザー放射線、UVオゾン処理または酸素プラズマ処理によって、低い濡れ性とされることを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記一つの支持板には、成形法によって、壁が提供されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の光学装置を製作する方法。
- 請求項1または2に記載の光学装置を製作する方法であって、前記一つの支持板の前記濡れ性の低い部分は、印刷処理法によって形成される方法。
- 前記基板は、反応性イオンエッチング法によって予備処理されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
