Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 携帯通信装置であって、
送受信無線機と、
前記送受信無線機に結合されているディスプレイと、
前記携帯通信装置のユーザ状態を検出するセンサであって、前記ユーザ状態は、ユーザが前記携帯通信装置に向かって発話していると仮定されるときである発話状態を含むことができることと、
前記センサが発話状態を検出したときに、前記ディスプレイに供給する電力を少なくとも削減するようにプログラムされているプロセッサと、
を備えている、携帯通信装置。 - 請求項1記載の携帯通信装置において、当該携帯通信装置は、更に、前記ディスプレイ用バックライトと、バックライト付きキーパッドとを備えており、前記プロセッサは、更に、前記携帯通信装置が発話状態にある場合、前記ディスプレイ、前記バックライト、および前記バックライト付きキーパッド用光源の中の少なくとも1つをオフにするようにプログラムされている、携帯通信装置。
- 請求項1記載の携帯通信装置において、前記センサは、所定の音量の音響がマイクロフォンに受信され、ユーザが前記携帯通信装置に話しかけていることを示すか否か判定する近接センサを備えている、携帯通信装置。
- 請求項1記載の携帯通信装置において、前記センサは、反射信号のスペクトル密度よびスペクトル・エネルギのうち少なくとも1つを測定し、前記ユーザの頭部の前記携帯通信装置の受話部に対する近接度を判定する音響フィードバック・アルゴリズムを備えている、携帯通信装置。
- 請求項1記載の携帯通信装置において、当該携帯通信装置は、更に、前記携帯通信装置をディスパッチ・モードで動作させるためのプッシュ・ツー・トーク・ボタンを備えており、前記プロセッサは、前記プッシュ・ツー・トーク・ボタンが所定回数押下されたときに、前記発話状態を検出する、携帯通信装置。
- ディスプレイを有する無線通信装置の電力管理方法であって、
発話状態を検出するステップと、
前記ディスプレイに供給する電力を前記発話状態の所定時間内において少なくとも削減するステップと、
を備えている方法。 - 請求項6記載の方法において、該方法は、更に、当該方法がもはや発話状態や、前記通信装置上でキーが押下されたことを検出しないとき、前記ディスプレイに電力を供給するステップを含む、方法。
- 請求項6記載の方法において、前記発話状態を検出するステップは、a)マイクロフォンにおいて所定の音量の音響音が受信され、ユーザが前記携帯通信装置に向かって話していることを示すか否か検出すること、b)反射信号のスペクトル密度およびスペクトル・エネルギのうち少なくとも一方を測定し、前記ユーザの頭部の前記携帯通信装置の受話部に対する近接度を判定すること、c)通話が開始した後に所定の期間を測定すること、d)前記携帯通信装置を位置付ける角度を検出すること、e)前記携帯通信装置の振動を検出すること、ならびにf)前記携帯通信装置がユーザの手の中にあるか否か検出することから成る状態群から選択する、方法。
- 請求項6記載の方法において、当該方法は、更に、前記ディスプレイ装置、前記ディスプレイ装置にバックライトを当てる光源、前記携帯通信装置のバックライト付きキーパッドの光源の中の少なくとも1つに供給する電力を、前記発話状態の所定時間の間少なくとも削減するステップを含む、方法。
- 請求項6記載の方法において、当該方法は、更に、音声の中断または一時停止、前記無線通信装置の移動、検出した装置の角度、および前記無線通信装置上でのキー押下から選択した条件のうち少なくとも1つを検出したときに、前記ディスプレイをオンにするステップを含む、方法。
