Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置は、第1基準電圧Vref1を生成する基準電圧生成部100と、第1基準電圧Vref1と順方向電圧Vfとの差を予め設定された利得Avで非反転増幅する非反転増幅部200と、非反転増幅部200の出力電圧に応じて駆動電流を調節してLED部400に供給する駆動部300と、LED部400の順方向電圧Vfを検出して非反転増幅部200に供給する順方向電圧検出部500とを含むことを特徴とする。

Description
また、前記駆動部300は、前記非反転増幅部200の出力電圧が入力される端子に連結されたベースと、動作電圧Vccが入力される端子に抵抗R30を介して連結されたエミッタと、前記LED部400に含まれるLEDのアノードに連結されたコレクタとを有するトランジスタQ30と、前記トランジスタQ30のベースと前記動作電圧Vccが入力される端子との間に連結され、前記トランジスタQ30のスイッチング動作による過度の電圧を抑制するキャパシタC30と、前記トランジスタQ30のベースに連結されたカソードと、接地に連結されたアノードとを有するダイオードD30とを含んでいる。

Claims (9)
- LEDの順方向電圧に応じて前記LEDの駆動を制御するLED駆動装置であって、
第1基準電圧を生成する基準電圧生成部と、
前記基準電圧生成部からの第1基準電圧と前記順方向電圧との差の電圧を、予め設定された利得で非反転増幅する非反転増幅部と、
前記非反転増幅部からの出力電圧に応じて前記LEDに供給される駆動電流を調節する駆動部と、
前記LEDのアノードから前記順方向電圧を検出して前記非反転増幅部に供給する順方向電圧検出部と
を含むことを特徴とする温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置。 - 前記基準電圧生成部は、前記第1基準電圧が使用者の選択によって調節可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置。
- 前記非反転増幅部は、前記第1基準電圧が入力される端子に連結された反転入力端と、前記順方向電圧が入力される端子に連結された非反転入力端とを有する非反転演算増幅器からなることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置。
- 前記反転入力端は、第1抵抗を介して前記第1基準電圧が入力される端子に連結されているとともに、第2抵抗を介して前記非反転演算増幅器の出力に連結され、
前記非反転入力端は第3抵抗を介して前記順方向電圧が入力される端子に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置。 - 前記非反転入力端と動作電圧との間の連結をスイッチングして、前記LEDの動作をオン/オフする動作オン/オフスイッチをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3または請求項4に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置。
- 前記非反転増幅部の出力電圧が予め設定された第2基準電圧より低い場合には前記出力電圧の代わりに前記第2基準電圧を前記駆動部に出力して前記駆動部の駆動電流を制限する電流制限部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置。
- 前記電流制限部は、
前記非反転増幅部の出力電圧と前記第2基準電圧とを比較する比較器と、
前記比較器の比較結果に基づいて前記非反転増幅部の出力電圧が大きい場合には前記非反転増幅部の出力電圧を選択し、前記第2基準電圧が大きい場合には前記第2基準電圧を選択するスイッチと
を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置。 - 前記順方向電圧検出部は、前記LEDのアノードから前記順方向電圧を検出して前記非反転増幅部に供給するバッファ演算増幅機器からなることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置。
- 前記駆動部は、
前記非反転増幅部の出力電圧が入力される端子に連結されたベースと、動作電圧が入力される端子に抵抗を介して連結されたエミッタと、前記LEDのアノードに連結されたコレクタとを有するトランジスタと、
前記トランジスタのベースと前記動作電圧が入力される端子との間に連結され、前記トランジスタのスイッチング動作による過度の電圧を抑制するキャパシタと、
前記トランジスタのベースに連結されたカソードと、接地に連結されたアノードとを有するダイオードと
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動装置。
