Abstract
【解決手段】空気供給装置Aは、車輪Bの回転に基づいてエアーチャンバー(車輪Bのタイヤ空気室Ra)に加圧空気を供給可能なエアーポンプ20と、このエアーポンプ20のポンプ室Ro外に設けられて同ポンプ室Roから前記エアーチャンバーに供給される加圧空気の圧力が第1設定値に達するとポンプ室Roから前記エアーチャンバーへの加圧空気の供給を制限するチェンジバルブ30と、前記第1設定値を調整可能な調整装置40を備えている。

Claims (19)
- 車輪の回転に基づいてエアーチャンバーに加圧空気を供給可能なエアーポンプと、このエアーポンプのポンプ室外に設けられて同ポンプ室から前記エアーチャンバーに供給される加圧空気の圧力が第1設定値に達すると前記ポンプ室から前記エアーチャンバーへの加圧空気の供給を制限する制限手段と、前記第1設定値を調整可能な調整手段を備えている空気供給装置。
- 請求項1に記載の空気供給装置において、前記制限手段は、前記ポンプ室から前記エアーチャンバーに供給される加圧空気の圧力が第1設定値未満であるとき、前記ポンプ室から大気への空気流れを規制しかつ前記ポンプ室から前記エアーチャンバーへの空気流れを許容し、前記ポンプ室から前記エアーチャンバーに供給される加圧空気の圧力が第1設定値以上であるとき、前記ポンプ室と大気間での空気流れを許容しかつ前記ポンプ室と前記エアーチャンバー間での空気流れを規制するチェンジバルブであることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項2に記載の空気供給装置において、前記チェンジバルブは、前記ポンプ室と前記エアーチャンバーに連通する通路に移動可能に組付けられて移動位置に応じて空気流れを制御する弁体と、この弁体に可動側端部にて係合して同弁体の移動位置を制御可能で前記弁体への付勢力を前記調整手段によって調整可能なスプリングを備えていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項3に記載の空気供給装置において、前記調整手段は、前記スプリングの固定側端部を支持するスプリングサポートと、このスプリングサポートの位置を調整可能なネジ機構を備えていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項4に記載の空気供給装置において、前記ネジ機構は、進退可能な調整ネジを備えていて、この調整ネジは前記スプリングサポートと別体で構成されていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項4または5に記載の空気供給装置において、前記調整手段は前記スプリングサポートの位置を微調整可能な変速機構を備えていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項2乃至6の何れか一項に記載の空気供給装置において、前記ポンプ室から前記エアーチャンバーに供給される加圧空気の圧力が前記第1設定値より高い第2設定値以上のときに大気に逃がすリリーフバルブを設けたことを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項7に記載の空気供給装置において、前記リリーフバルブは、前記チェンジバルブが前記ポンプ室と大気間での空気流れを許容しかつ前記ポンプ室と前記エアーチャンバー間での空気流れを規制する状態でのみ作動可能となるように設定されていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項8に記載の空気供給装置において、前記リリーフバルブは前記チェンジバルブの内部に配置されていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項7乃至9の何れか一項に記載の空気供給装置において、前記調整手段は、前記第1設定値と前記第2設定値を同時に調整可能であることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項10に記載の空気供給装置において、前記チェンジバルブの構成部材であるスプリングの固定側端部を支持するスプリングサポートと前記リリーフバルブの構成部材であるスプリングの固定側端部を支持するスプリングサポートは一体化されていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項4に記載の空気供給装置において、前記ネジ機構による前記スプリングサポートの位置調整を電気信号に変換する検出手段を設けたことを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項12に記載の空気供給装置において、前記検出手段は前記スプリングサポートの位置を検出するストロークセンサであることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項13に記載の空気供給装置において、前記ストロークセンサは前記スプリングサポートを可動部とするセンサであることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項1乃至14の何れか一項に記載の空気供給装置において、前記調整手段は電動アクチュエータを備えていて、この電動アクチュエータの作動は電気制御装置によって制御可能であることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項1乃至15の何れか一項に記載の空気供給装置において、前記エアーポンプ、前記制限手段および前記調整手段は、前記車輪とともに回転する回転軸に対して同軸的に配置されていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項16に記載の空気供給装置において、前記制限手段は、前記エアーポンプと前記調整手段間に配置されていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項16に記載の空気供給装置において、前記調整手段は、最も車両外側に配置されていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
- 請求項16乃至18の何れか一項に記載の空気供給装置において、前記エアーポンプ、前記制限手段および前記調整手段は、前記車輪とともに回転するハブに組付けられていて、このハブの車両内側端には駆動車軸がトルク伝達可能に連結されていることを特徴とする空気供給装置。
