Abstract
【解決手段】ヘッド部分を持つセンサ回路を有する渦電流センサにおいて、センサ回路は、センサ・コイル、ベース部分、ヘッド部分をベース部分に接続する通信ケーブルを含む。センサ・コイルは、内部導体とケーブルの外側シールドとの間に接続される。ベース部分は、ケーブルの線路容量をセンサ・コイルから分離し中心導体の電圧を緩衝し、3軸ケーブルの内側シールドに印加する電圧フォロワを備える。

Claims (12)
- 検査対象(5)内に渦電流を生成する手段を有するセンサ回路と、渦電流を検出するセンサ・コイル(4)を有し、このセンサ回路は、センサ・コイル(4)と、ベース部分(2)と、ヘッド部分(1)をベース部分(2)に接続する通信ケーブル(3)とからなる渦電流センサであって、
通信ケーブル(3)は、中心導体(10)、内側シールド(11)、外側シールド(12)を有する3軸ケーブルであり、センサ・コイル(4)は、中心導体(10)と外側シールド(11)との間で接続され、センサ回路のベース部分(2)は、ケーブル(3)の線路容量をセンサ・コイル(4)から分離する中心導体(10)と内側シールド(11)との間で接続された電圧フォロワ(13)を有していることを特徴とする渦電流センサ。 - 請求項1記載の渦電流センサにおいて、センサ回路は、検査対象(5)に渦電流を生成するセンサ・コイル(4)に交流電流を供給するように配置され発振器(6、6’)を備えることを特徴とする渦電流センサ。
- 請求項1または2記載の渦電流センサにおいて、渦電流は、少なくとも700kHzの周波数を有することを特徴とする渦電流センサ。
- 請求項3記載の渦電流センサにおいて、電圧フォロワ(13)は、少なくとも150MHzの3db遮断周波数を有することを特徴とする渦電流センサ。
- 請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の渦電流センサのセンサ・コイル(4)において、センサ・コイル(4)は、1つまたはいくつかの重なった巻き線層のそれぞれに配置した所定数の連続した巻き線を有する2つ以上のセグメント(s1〜sn)を含み、これらのコイル・セグメント(s1〜sn)は、コイル軸17沿って隣り合って配列され、直列に接続されることを特徴とするセンサ・コイル。
- 請求項5記載のセンサ・コイルにおいて、コイル・セグメント(s1〜sn)は、奇数の巻き線層を有していることを特徴とするセンサ・コイル。
- 請求項5または6記載のセンサ・コイルにおいて、コイル・セグメント(s1〜sn)は、1つの巻き線ワイヤから連続して巻かれることを特徴とするセンサ・コイル。
- 請求項5から7のいずれかに記載のセンサ・コイルにおいて、コイル・セグメントは、共通のボビン(18)の周囲に巻かれることを特徴とするセンサ・コイル。
- 請求項5から7のいずれかに記載のセンサ・コイルにおいて、コイル・セグメントの外径Dは、コイルの長さLよりも大きいことを特徴とするセンサ・コイル。
- 請求項5から9のいずれかに記載のセンサ・コイルにおいて、各セグメントの巻き線は、少なくとも2つの重なった巻き線層に配置されることを特徴とするセンサ・コイル。
- 請求項5から10のいずれかに記載のセンサ・コイルにおいて、隣接するコイル・セグメント同士の隣接する巻き線間の距離は、コイル・セグメント内において隣接する巻き線間の距離よりも大きいことを特徴とするセンサ・コイル。
- 請求項5から11のいずれかに記載のセンサ・コイル(4)を有する渦電流センサ。
