Abstract
【解決手段】 レーザ光を透過する透過性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第1の部材2と、レーザ光を吸収する吸収性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第2の部材3とを接触させ、レーザ光で接触面4を溶融して接合する熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置1は、第1の部材3側からレーザ光を照射して第1の部材と第2の部材との接触面の少なくとも一方の接触面を溶融させるレーザ光発生器10と、第1の部材と第2の部材とを相互に押圧するクランプ機構20と、第1の部材と第2の部材との押圧力を調整する調整手段として温度センサ31と、温度センサの出力に基づいて押圧力を算出するパーソナルコンピュータ32とを備え、算出された押圧力でクランプ機構を制御する。

Claims (8)
- レーザ光を透過する透過性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第1の部材と、レーザ光を吸収する吸収性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第2の部材とを接触させ、レーザ光で接触面を溶融して接合する熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法であって、
前記第1の部材と第2の部材を相互に押圧し、前記第1の部材側から前記2つの部材の接触面に向けてレーザ光を照射し、前記2つの部材の少なくとも一方の接触面を溶融させ、前記第1の部材と第2の部材との押圧力を調整して溶着することを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法。 - 前記押圧力の調整は、前記レーザ光の照射によって溶融する前記接触面の溶融部の温度を検出してなされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法。
- 前記押圧力の調整は、前記レーザ光の照射によって溶融する前記接触面の溶融部における圧力を検出してなされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着方法。
- レーザ光を透過する透過性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第1の部材と、レーザ光を吸収する吸収性熱可塑性樹脂から構成される第2の部材とを接触させ、レーザ光で接触面を溶融して接合する熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置であって、
前記第1の部材側からレーザ光を照射して第1の部材と第2の部材との接触面の少なくとも一方の接触面を溶融させるレーザ光発生手段と、
前記第1の部材と第2の部材とを相互に押圧する押圧手段と、
前記第1の部材と第2の部材との押圧力を調整する調整手段とを備えることを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。 - 前記レーザ溶着装置は、前記第1の部材と第2の部材のレーザ光照射による溶融部の温度を検出する温度検出手段を備えており、
前記調整手段は、前記温度検出手段の出力に基づいて第1の部材と第2の部材との押圧力を調整することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。 - 前記レーザ溶着装置は、前記第1の部材と第2の部材のレーザ光照射による溶融部の圧力を検出する圧力検出手段を備えており、
前記調整手段は、前記圧力検出手段の出力に基づいて第1の部材と第2の部材との押圧力を調整することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。 - 前記レーザ溶着装置は、前記レーザ光発生器を移動させる移動手段を備えており、
前記押圧手段は、前記第1の部材と第2の部材とを押圧する複数の押圧部を有しており、前記レーザ光発生器の移動に伴って複数の押圧部の押圧力を調整することを特徴とする請求項4〜6のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。 - 前記押圧手段は、ばね圧、油圧、空圧のいずれかまたは複数を用いることを特徴とする請求項4〜7のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材のレーザ溶着装置。
