Abstract
【解決手段】 薄膜磁気ヘッド2の静止姿勢角の値に対する修正条件をランク付けして、予め、コンピュータシステム94の記憶部942に記憶しておく。薄膜磁気ヘッド2の静止姿勢角を、測定装置93で測定する。その測定値をコンピュータシステム94に供給し、測定値に対応する修正条件に基づいて、修正装置92により、可撓体12に静止姿勢角修正のための曲げを加える。そして、可撓体12の曲げを生じる領域にレーザを照射する。

Claims (8)
- ヘッドアーム組立体の可撓体に取り付けられた薄膜磁気ヘッドの静止姿勢角を修正する方法であって、
前記薄膜磁気ヘッドの静止姿勢角の値に対する修正条件をランク付けして予め記憶しておき、
前記薄膜磁気ヘッドの静止姿勢角を測定し、
その測定値に対応する前記修正条件に基づいて、前記可撓体に静止姿勢角修正のための曲げを加え、
前記可撓体の曲げを生じる領域にレーザを照射する、
ステップを含む静止姿勢角修正方法。 - 請求項1に記載された静止姿勢角修正方法であって、前記修正条件は、前記可撓体に対する修正ピンの当接位置と、前記修正ピンの押込み量と、レーザ照射位置の条件を含む静止姿勢角修正方法。
- 請求項2に記載された静止姿勢角修正方法であって、前記修正条件は、レーザの照射時間を含む静止姿勢角修正方法。
- 修正装置と、レーザ発振装置と、測定装置と、コンピュータシステムとを含み、ヘッドアーム組立体の可撓体に取り付けられた薄膜磁気ヘッドの静止姿勢角を修正する装置であって、
前記修正装置は、前記可撓体に曲げを加えるものであり、
前記レーザ発振装置は、曲げ領域にレーザを照射するものであり、
前記測定装置は、前記薄膜磁気ヘッドの静止姿勢角を測定するものであり、
前記コンピュータシステムは、CPUと、前記薄膜磁気ヘッドの静止姿勢角の値に対する修正条件をランク付けして予め記憶した記憶部とを有し、前記CPUは、前記測定装置から供給された測定値に対応する前記修正条件を前記記憶部から読み出し、読み出された修正条件を前記修正装置に供給し、
前記修正装置は、前記コンピュータシステムから供給された修正条件に基づき、前記可撓体に曲げを加える、
静止姿勢角修正装置。 - 請求項4に記載された静止姿勢角修正装置であって、
前記修正装置は、先端を前記可撓体の表面に押圧し得る複数の可動性修正ピンを有し、
前記修正条件は、前記可撓体に対する前記修正ピンの当接位置と、前記修正ピンの押込み量と、レーザ照射位置との条件を含む、
静止姿勢角修正装置。 - 請求項5に記載された薄膜磁気ヘッド静止姿勢角修正装置であって、前記修正ピンは、前記可撓体の表面に対して所定の角度をもって配置されている、
静止姿勢角修正装置。 - 請求項5または6に記載された静止姿勢角修正装置であって、前記修正条件は、レーザの照射時間を含む静止姿勢角修正装置。
- 請求項4乃至7の何れかに記載された静止姿勢角修正装置であって、前記静止姿勢角測定装置はレーザオートコリメータである静止姿勢角修正装置。
