Abstract
【解決手段】内燃機関1と、混合燃料をアルコール−水混合液21と液体炭化水素22とに分離する第1の分離手段2と、アルコール−水混合液をエーテル−水混合液に改質する改質手段13と、該エーテル−水混合液を該エーテルと該水とに分離する第2の分離手段14と、液体炭化水素22と、アルコール−水混合液21と、該エーテルとの割合を制御する制御手段16とを備える。内燃機関1は圧縮着火内燃機関である。液体炭化水素21を供給する第1のインジェクター12aと、アルコール−水混合液21を供給する第2のインジェクター12bと、前記エーテルを供給する第3のインジェクター12cとを備える。制御手段16は、要求負荷が高くなるほどアルコール−水混合液21を増加させ、低くなるほど前記エーテルを増加させる。

Claims (4)
- 内燃機関と、
液体炭化水素とアルコールとからなる混合燃料に水を混合して、該水と該アルコールとが混合されたアルコール−水混合液と、該液体炭化水素とに分離する第1の分離手段と、
該アルコール−水混合液の少なくとも一部に触媒を作用させて該アルコール−水混合液をエーテル−水混合液に改質する改質手段と、
該エーテル−水混合液を該エーテルと該水とに分離する第2の分離手段と、
該液体炭化水素と、該アルコール−水混合液と、該エーテルとを燃料として該内燃機関に供給するときに、該内燃機関の要求負荷に応じて該燃料全体に対する該液体炭化水素と、該アルコール−水混合液と、該エーテルとの割合を制御する制御手段とを備えることを特徴とする内燃機関システム。 - 前記内燃機関は、シリンダー内に供給された燃料を圧縮して自己着火させる圧縮着火内燃機関であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関システム。
- 前記液体炭化水素を噴射して前記内燃機関に供給する第1のインジェクターと、前記アルコール−水混合液を噴射して該内燃機関に供給する第2のインジェクターと、前記エーテルを噴射して該内燃機関に供給する第3のインジェクターとを備え、各インジェクターの噴射量は前記制御手段により制御されることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の内燃機関システム。
- 前記制御手段は、要求負荷が高くなるほど前記燃料全体に対する前記アルコール−水混合液の割合を増加させ、要求負荷が低くなるほど該燃料全体に対する前記エーテルの割合を増加させることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の内燃機関システム。
