Abstract
【解決手段】 チェンジペダル部10aの操作に連動するシフトドラム18の回転によってギヤポジションを変更するエンジンEの変速装置15は、シフトドラム18の回転位置を検出するポテンショメータ30と、該ポテンショメータ30からの信号値が所定範囲を有する判定帯域A1,AN,A2,A3,…内に存在するか否かに基づいてギヤポジションを判定する判定部41aとから構成されている。

Claims (10)
- チェンジペダルの操作に連動するシフトドラムの回転によってギヤポジションを変更する変速装置であって、
前記シフトドラムの回転位置を検出するポテンショメータと、該ポテンショメータからの信号値が、所定範囲を有する判定帯域内に存在するか否かに基づいてギヤポジションを判定する判定部とを備えることを特徴とする変速装置。 - 前記判定帯域は各ギヤポジション毎に設定され、隣り合う判定帯域間には前記ギヤポジションの判定基準とされない不感帯域が設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の変速装置。
- 前記判定部は、前記ポテンショメータからの信号値の変化率の絶対値が、所定の閾値より大きい場合に、ギヤポジションの変更ありと判定するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の変速装置。
- 前記判定部は、前記ポテンショメータからの信号値の変化率の正負によって、ギヤポジションの変更がシフトアップ及びシフトダウンの何れであるかを判定するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の変速装置。
- 前記閾値は、各ギヤポジション毎に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の変速装置。
- エンジンの燃焼室内で燃料ガスへの点火のタイミングを決定する制御部を備え、該制御部は、前記判定部においてギヤポジションにシフトアップ変更があったと判定された場合、前記点火のタイミングを遅らせるよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の変速装置。
- 前記ポテンショメータは、前記シフトドラムと略一体回転する入力軸を有し、該入力軸と前記シフトドラムとは間に合成樹脂製のダンパが介在された状態で接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の変速装置。
- 前記ポテンショメータの入力軸は前記ダンパに対して締まり嵌めされていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の変速装置。
- 前記ダンパは、前記シフトドラムの軸方向一端部に形成された凹部に収容されており、前記シフトドラムには、該凹部に収容された前記ダンパの脱落を防止する係止部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載の変速装置。
- 上記請求項1乃至9の何れかに記載の変速装置を備えることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
