Abstract
Description
上記の親水性モノマーおよび疎水性モノマーを単独でまたは2種以上の混合物として使用して、統計コポリマー、ブロックコポリマーおよび/またはグラフトコポリマーを得ることができる。ポリマー鎖全体にわたって異なったモノマーの本質的にランダムな組み込みを示すので、これらのポリマーのうちでは統計コポリマーが特に好ましい。
酢酸ビニルとビニルピロリドンの統計コポリマーをラジカル重合によって作製した。その酢酸ビニルとビニルピロリドンの重量比は7を用いた。この目的のために、液体試薬は窒素雰囲気中で蒸留によって清浄化した。酢酸ビニル98.5g、ビニルピロリドン14gおよびアゾビスイソブチロニトリル0.59gをアセトン200mlに加えた。得られた混合物を窒素雰囲気下、約54℃で72時間攪拌した。次いで、得られたポリマーを200mlのヘキサンで抽出した。1000mlの水を加えて、ポリマーをヘキサン溶液から沈澱させた。単離したポリマーをアセトン中に溶解して、統計コポリマーを得た。ゲル透過クロマトグラフィーによるその分子量の重量平均は56,611g/モルであり、その多分散性指数は3.5であった。スチレンジビニルベンゾールポリマーを固定相として用い、クロロホルムを流動相として用いた。
得られた結果を表1に示す。
基本的には実施例1を繰り返したが、ここでは酢酸ビニルとビニルピロリドンの重量比は12ではなく7を用いた。
コーティングされた不織布の表面密度は60.2g/m2であった。
この全血ろ過の結果も表1に示す。
基本的には実施例1を繰り返したが、ここでは酢酸ビニルとビニルピロリドン重量比は7でなく4を用いた。コーティングされた不織布の表面密度は59.9g/m2であった。

基本的には実施例1を繰り返したが、ここでは全血をろ過するためにコーティングされていないポリブチレンテレフタレートの布を用いた。この結果も表1に示す。
Claims (23)
- 親水性支持材料およびポリマー系コーティング材料を含む、全血および/または血液製剤からの白血球の分離用フィルターであって、フィルターの表面が50〜80ダイン/cmの範囲の限界表面ぬれ張力を示し、前記ポリマー系コーティング材料が、疎水性モノマーと親水性モノマーを含む混合物の重合反応によって得ることができることを特徴とするフィルター。
- 最大で前記フィルターの0.5重量%が、37℃で水で抽出されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルター。
- 前記混合物が1〜40重量%の親水性モノマーと、99〜60重量%の疎水性モノマーを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフィルター。
- 前記疎水性モノマーが酢酸ビニル、メチルメタクリレートおよびイソホロンジイソシアナートからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記コーティング剤が、pH7.0でイオン性基を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記親水性モノマーがビニルピロリドン、アクリル酸およびポリエチレングリコールからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記コーティング剤が前記支持材料の表面の少なくとも90%をカバーすることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記コーティング材料を製造するための重合反応が、PEGの場合に、ラジカル重合または重付加反応であることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記ポリマー系コーティング材料が10,000〜200,000g/モルの範囲の分子量の重量平均Mwを示すことを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記ポリマー系コーティング材料が1〜5の範囲の多分散性指数Mw/Mnを示すことを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記ポリマー系コーティング材料が統計コポリマー(重付加反応の場合、非統計的である)であることを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記支持材料が結晶性繊維を組み込むことを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記繊維がポリエステルを含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載のフィルター。
- 前記繊維が0.5〜8μmの範囲の直径を示すことを特徴とする請求項12または13に記載のフィルター。
- 前記支持材料が繊維不織布であることを特徴とする請求項12から14のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記フィルターが1〜25重量%のポリマー系コーティング材料を組み込むことを特徴とする請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 前記フィルターの表面密度が20〜110g/m2の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載のフィルター。
- 疎水性支持材料をポリマー系コーティング材料と溶媒を含む溶液でコーティングし、次いで前記溶媒を、ポリマー系コーティング剤を与えられた前記支持材料から除去することを特徴とする請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載のフィルターを作製する方法。
- 前記疎水性支持材料を溶液中に浸漬することを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。
- 水中に沈澱させて前記ポリマー系コーティング材料を清浄化することを特徴とする請求項18また19に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載の少なくとも1つのフィルターを組み込んだ、全血および/または血液製剤から白血球を分離するための装置。
- 前記フィルターが15〜50のフィルター層を組み込むことを特徴とする請求項21に記載の装置。
- 全血から白血球を分離するための請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載のフィルターの使用。
