Claims (40)
- 基体から揮発性材料を活発に送給する揮発性物質送給装置に使用する基体であって、
粒状粒子であって、該粒状粒子が互いに接着されて孔と通路の網状組織を有する本体を形成し、該本体の内部表面は送給する揮発性材料に対して非反応的及び非吸収的である粒状粒子と、
前記孔内に配置された揮発性材料であって、前記送給装置により、害虫を駆除する送給速度で初めに送給可能な害虫駆除アクティブ成分を含む揮発性材料と、を含み、
前記揮発性物質送給装置を作動させると前記孔から前記揮発性材料を放出され、これにより前記揮発性材料が送給され、
該送給装置がもはや揮発性材料を害虫を駆除する送給速度で送給できなくなるまで揮発性材料を使い果たしたとき、孔内に残留する揮発性材料が10%以下であることを特徴とする基体。 - 前記害虫駆除アクティブ成分が、天然ピレトリン、ジョチュウギク抽出液、合成ピレトロイド、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の基体。

a)従来の芯と容器の組み合わせの代わりとして基体を提供するステップであって、前記基体が、
i.前記加熱器内の加熱位置を占める形状の本体を形成すべく互いに接着された粒状粒子であって、前記本体が、液体容器へ連絡しておらず、孔と通路の網状組織を有し、前記孔と通路の内部表面が、送給される揮発性材料に対して非反応的及び非吸収的であり、前記本体が前記加熱器内の前記加熱位置を占めるように形成された粒状粒子、
ii.前記孔内に配置された揮発性材料を含み、
iii.前記揮発性物質送給装置を作動させると、前記孔から前記揮発性材料が放出され、これにより揮発性材料が送給されるステップと、

a)前記封入された加熱チャンバによって保持可能な基体を提供するステップであって、前記基体が、
i.孔と通路の網状組織を有する本体を形成すべく互いに接着された粒状粒子であって、前記本体の内部表面が、送給される揮発性材料に対して非反応的及び非吸収的な粒状粒子と、
ii.前記孔内に配置された、送給される揮発性材料と、を含むステップと、
b)前記基体を前記加熱チャンバ内に配置するステップと、

b)前記基体を前記加熱チャンバ内に配置するステップと、

ii.前記孔内に配置された、送給される揮発性材料と、を含むステップと、
b)前記基体を前記空気流内に配置するステップと、
c)前記送給装置を作動して前記空気流を前記基体へ方向付けることにより前記孔から前記揮発性材料を放出し、該揮発性材料を送給するステップと、を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記揮発性材料が、前記孔内に残存する残留揮発性材料が10%以下になるまで害虫を駆除する送給速度で送給される害虫駆除アクティブ材料である、請求項33に記載の方法。
