Claims (20)
- ペネトレータの等方的発射用爆縮炸薬を備えた運動エネルギーロッド弾頭であって、
ハルと、
複数の個々のペネトレータを含む前記ハル内のコアと、
前記ハル内において前記コアの周りに存在する炸薬セクションと、
前記コアを爆縮させかつ前記ペネトレータを等方的に散開させるよう配置された各炸薬セクション用の起爆装置と、を具備してなることを特徴とする運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。 - 各炸薬セクション間にシールドをさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 等方的に散開された前記ペネトレータが円形等方的パターンをなすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 等方的に散開された前記ペネトレータが楕円形パターンをなすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータはタングステンロッドであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ハルはミサイルの外皮であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータは長尺な金属材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータはタングステン製であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータは円柱形断面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータは非円柱形断面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータは星形断面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータは十字形断面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータは平坦な端部を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータは非平坦なノーズを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータは尖鋭化されたノーズを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記ペネトレータはクサビ形ノーズを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 前記起爆装置はチップスラッパー(chip slappers)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運動エネルギーロッド弾頭。
- 運動エネルギーロッド弾頭のペネトレータを等方的に散開させる方法であって、
炸薬セクションによって取り囲まれた状態で、ハルのコア内に複数の個々のペネトレータを配置することと、
前記コアを爆縮させ前記ペネトレータを等方的に散開させるため前記炸薬セクションを起爆させることとを具備することを特徴とする方法。 - ペネトレータの円形飛散パターンを形成するため全ての前記炸薬セクションを同時に起爆させることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
- 対向する炸薬セクションの選択された部分を、ペネトレータの楕円形飛散パターンを形成するため同時に起爆させることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
