Abstract
【解決手段】少なくとも85重量%の4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートを含有するポリイソシアネート成分、オキシエチレン残基を含有する少なくとも1種のポリオキシアルキレンポリオールを含んでいて、2〜4のヒドロキシル官能価、500〜7000のヒドロキシル当量、及び50〜85重量%のオキシエチレン含量を有するポリオール組成物、最大250までのヒドロキシル当量を有する連鎖延長剤、及び必要に応じて架橋剤からなる、20℃での貯蔵弾性率(E’)と120℃での貯蔵弾性率(E’)との比が0.75〜1.5であり、100℃でのtanδ〔tanδは、損失弾性率(E”)と貯蔵弾性率(E’)との比である〕が0.1以下であり、そしてtanδの最大値が0.8以上であるポリイソシアネートベースのエラストマー。

Description
本発明は、新規のポリウレタンエラストマーおよびそれらの製造法に関する。
(a)オキシエチレン残基を含有する少なくとも1種のポリオキシアルキレ ンポリオールをを含んだ75〜100重量%の第1のポリオール成分、このとき前記ポリオール成分は、2〜4の平均公称ヒドロキシル官能価、10 00〜5000の平均ヒドロキシル当量、および60〜85重量%の平均オキシエ チレン含量を有する;ならびに
(b)25〜0重量%の他のポリオール成分;
を含む。
(a)少なくとも85重量%の4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートまたはその変性体を含有するポリイソシアネート成分;
(b)オキシエチレン基を含有する少なくとも1種のポリオキシアルキレンポリオールを含んだポリオール組成物、このとき前記ポリオール組成物は、2〜4の平均公称ヒドロキシル官能価、500〜7000の平均ヒドロキシル当量、および50〜85重量%の平均オキシエチレン含量を有する;
(c)最大250までの平均ヒドロキシル当量を有する連鎖延長剤;
そして必要に応じて
(d)水;
(e)架橋剤;および
(f)エラストマー配合物に通常使用される1種以上の添加剤;
を含む反応系を提供する。
・ポリイソシアネートI:高純度の4,4’−MDI(Suprasec MPR;インペリアル・ケミカル・インダストリーズPLCから市販;SuprasecはICI PLCの商標)
・ポリイソシアネートII:ウレトンイミン変性MDI(Suprasec 2020;インペリアル・ケミカル・インダストリーズPLCから市販)
・ポリイソシアネートIII:MDIベースのプレポリマー(Suprasec 2433;インペリアル・ケミカル・インダストリーズPLCから市販)
・ポリイソシアネートIV:ポリイソシアネートIとポリオールBとを反応させることにより得られるイソシアネートプレポリマー(NCO含量=8.66%)
・ポリオールA:70%のランダムEO基、42mg KOH/gのOH価、および約45%の一級OH基を有するEO/POトリオール
・ポリオールB:75%のランダムEO基と27mg KOH/gのOH価を有するEO/POジオール
・ポリオールC:EO/POジオール(22%のEOチップ;OH価=35mg KOH/g)とEO/POトリオール(15%のEOチップ;OH価=32mg KOH/g)との70/30ブレンド
・ポリオールD:ポリマー変性ポリオール(34mg KOH/gのOH価、15%のEOチップ、および75%の一級OH基を有し、スチレン−アクリロニトリルコポリマー粒子を20%含有している、開始剤がグリセロールであるポリオール)
・ポリオールE:27%のEOチップと30mg KOH/gのOH価を有するEO/POジオール
・触媒1:DabcoEG;エアー・プロダクツ社から市販
・触媒2:Niax Al;ユニオンカーバイド社から市販
・EG:エチレングリコール
実施例
実施例1、2、3、4、および比較例1と2
表Iに記載の配合物をベンチ混合し(bench mixed)、従来法にしたがってエラストマーを15×10×1cmの金型中に成形した。これらのエラストマーを測定して得られた特性を表1に示す。
Rheomtric Scientific DMTA装置を使用して、3点曲げ法(3-point bendingmethod)にもとづきISO/DIS 6721-5に従って測定を行った。サンプルの試験寸法は、長さ1.0cm、幅1.3cm、厚さ0.4cmであった。加えた歪みの大きさ64×10-4cm、周波数1Hz、加熱速度2℃/分。エラストマーサンプルは、試験前に、23℃で50%相対湿度にて24時間予備状態調節した。エラストマーサンプルを−120℃に急冷し(8.5℃/分の冷却速度)、この温度に5分保持してから、サンプルの加熱を開始した。
Claims (19)
- 20℃での貯蔵弾性率(E’)と120℃での貯蔵弾性率(E’)との比が0.75〜1.5であり、損失弾性率(E”)と貯蔵弾性率(E’)との比であるtanδが100℃にて0.1以下であり、そしてtanδの最大値が0.8以上であるポリイソシアネートベースのエラストマー。
- ポリイソシアネートが少なくとも90重量%の4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートを含有する、請求項1記載のエラストマー。
- ポリイソシアネートが少なくとも95重量%の4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートを含有する、請求項2記載のエラストマー。
- 20℃での貯蔵弾性率(E’)と120℃での貯蔵弾性率(E’)との比が0.8〜1.2である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のエラストマー。
- 20℃での貯蔵弾性率(E’)と120℃での貯蔵弾性率(E’)との比が0.85〜1.1である、請求項4記載のエラストマー。
- 100℃でのtanδが0.05以下である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のエラストマー。
- 100℃でのtanδが0.03以下である、請求項6記載のエラストマー。
- tanδの最大値が1.0以上である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のエラストマー。
- 0℃未満の温度にてtanδの主要な最大値を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のエラストマー。
- −10℃未満の温度にてtanδの主要な最大値を有する、請求項9記載のエラストマー。
- 少なくとも85重量%の4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートまたはその変性体を含有するポリイソシアネート成分、オキシエチレン残基を含有する少なくとも1種のポリオキシアルキレンポリオールを含んでいて、2〜4の平均公称ヒドロキシル官能価、500〜7000の平均ヒドロキシル当量、および50〜85重量%の平均オキシエチレン含量を有するポリオール組成物、最大250までの平均ヒドロキシル当量を有する連鎖延長剤、および必要に応じて架橋剤を含んだ反応混合物から請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のエラストマーを製造する方法。
- 前記ポリオール組成物が少なくとも1種のポリ(オキシエチレン−オキシプロピレン)ポリオールを含む、請求項11記載の製造法。
- 前記ポリオール組成物が、
(a)オキシエチレン残基を含有する少なくとも1種のポリオキシアルキレンポリオールを含んだ75〜100重量%の第1のポリオール成分、このとき前記ポリオール成分は、2〜4の平均公称ヒドロキシル官能価、1000〜5000の平均ヒドロキシル当量、および60〜85重量%の平均オキシエチレン含量を有する;および
(b)25〜0重量%の他のポリオール成分;
を含む、請求項12記載の製造法。 - 前記ポリオール組成物が2〜3の平均公称ヒドロキシル官能価を有する、請求項11〜13のいずれか一項に記載の製造法。
- 前記反応混合物がさらに水を含む、請求項11〜14のいずれか一項に記載の製造法。
- 水の量が、イソシアネート反応性化合物の総重量を基準として2重量%以下である、請求項15記載の製造法。
- 90〜110のイソシアネートインデックスにて行われる、請求項11〜16のいずれか一項に記載の製造法。
- 95〜105のイソシアネートインデックスにて行われる、請求項17記載の製造法。
- (a)少なくとも85重量%の4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートまたはその変性体を含有するポリイソシアネート成分;
(b)オキシエチレン残基を含有する少なくとも1種のポリオキシアルキレンポリオールを含んだポリオール組成物、このとき前記ポリオール組成物は、2〜4の平均公称ヒドロキシル官能価、500〜7000の平均公称ヒドロキシル当量、および50〜85重量%の平均オキシエチレン含量を有する;
(c)最大250までの平均ヒドロキシル当量を有する連鎖延長剤;
(d)水;
(e)架橋剤;および
(f)エラストマー配合物に従来使用されている1種以上の添加剤;
を含む反応系。
