Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の自動注射装置は、事前充填した薬物を含み、作動させるとその薬物を自動的に自己投与する。この自動注射装置は、内部チャンバ、フィルタ・アセンブリ、起動アセンブリ、そして針アセンブリを有するハウジング・アセンブリを備える。内部チャンバは、所定充填量の乾燥薬物を中に保存するための乾区画と、所定量の液体注射溶液を中に保存するための湿区画を備える。フィルタ・アセンブリは、湿区画内の液体注射溶液を加圧する際に、湿区画と乾区画の間の流体をより滑らかな流れにする。

Description
さらに詳細には、本発明は、薬物を注射部位に送るため、液体材料を乾燥材料と迅速に混合して液体薬物を形成する自動注射器アセンブリ(組立体)を対象とする。本発明によれば、この自動注射器アセンブリは、自動注射器アセンブリを起動させるまで、液体材料を乾燥材料から離しておく分離フィルタ・アセンブリを備える。
本発明は、作動させると薬物を自動的に自己投与する、事前充填した薬物を含む自動注射装置を対象とする。この自動注射装置は、内部チャンバ(室)、フィルタ・アセンブリ、起動アセンブリ、および針アセンブリを有するハウジング・アセンブリを備える。本発明によれば、この内部チャンバは、所定量の乾燥し充填された乾燥薬物を中に保存するための乾区画、および所定量の液体注射溶液を中に保存するための湿区画を備えることができる。
本発明の一実施形態によれば、プランジャ・アセンブリは、液体注射溶液が湿区画から乾区画へ移動するための通路、および湿区画内で液体注射溶液を加圧する前に液体注射溶液が湿区画から乾区画へ移動するのを防ぐための膜アセンブリを備えることができる。この膜は、湿区画を加圧すると破裂するように設計されている。本発明の他の実施形態によれば、プランジャ・アセンブリは、湿区画内での液体注射溶液の加圧中に、第1の位置から第2の位置へ移動するようになっている。この移動により、プランジャ・アセンブリと内部チャンバの間の流体通路が開いて、液体注射流体が湿区画から乾区画へ通過できるようになる。

Claims (17)
- 薬物を含み、作動するとこの薬物を自動的に自己投与する自動注射装置において、
内部チャンバを有し、該内部チャンバが、薬物を中に保存するための乾区画、および液体注射溶液を中に保存するための湿区画を含み、湿区画が第1の直径を、乾区画が第2の直径を備え、第2の直径が第1の直径よりも大きい、ハウジング・アセンブリと、
乾区画に隣接して湿区画内に配置され、液体注射溶液を加圧する前に、液体注射溶液が湿区画から乾区画へ移動するのを防ぐプランジャ・アセンブリと、
この自動注射装置が起動すると液体注射溶液を加圧する起動アセンブリと、
液体注射溶液の加圧がプランジャ・アセンブリを湿区画から乾区画内へ動かしてプランジャ・アセンブリと内部チャンバとの間の流体通路を開き、この液体注射溶液の加圧がさらに、通路を介して液体注射溶液を乾区画へ通して、乾区画内の薬物を溶かすことと、
溶けた薬物を含む液体注射溶液を投与するための針アセンブリとを含む、自動注射装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、さらに、前記プランジャ・アセンブリに隣接して乾区画内に位置するフィルタ・アセンブリを含み、このフィルタ・アセンブリは、乾区画内へのプランジャ・アセンブリの移動に応じて液体注射溶液が通過して乾区画へ入る内部チャンバとフィルタとを有し、液体注射溶液が湿区画から乾区画へ通る際に流体の層流を作り出す、自動注射装置。
- 請求項2に記載の装置において、前記フィルタ・アセンブリは、液体注射溶液が該フィルタ・アセンブリを通過するときに、乾区画内で移動可能である、自動注射装置。
- 請求項3に記載の装置において、前記フィルタ・アセンブリは、液体注射溶液が該フィルタ・アセンブリを通過するときに、薬物を加圧下に維持する、自動注射装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置であって、前記内部チャンバ内に配置され、溶けていない薬物が針アセンブリに入るのを防ぐ乾燥薬物支持構造をさらに含む、自動注射装置。
- 薬物を含み、作動するとこの薬物を自動的に自己投与する自動注射装置において、
内部チャンバを有し、該内部チャンバが乾燥薬物成分を入れるための乾区画、および乾燥薬物成分と混合すべき液体成分を入れるための湿区画を含む、ハウジング・アセンブリと、
乾区画と湿区画の間の封止構造であって、最初は乾燥薬物成分を液体成分から密封しておく破裂可能な膜を備え、この自動注射装置の起動に応じてハウジング・アセンブリに対して可動である封止構造と、
封止構造と乾区画の間に配置され、この自動注射装置の起動に応じてハウジング・アセンブリに対して可動である流体分散部材と、
薬物をハウジング・アセンブリから投与する針アセンブリと、
ハウジング・アセンブリ内に支持され、保存エネルギー源を備える起動アセンブリとを含み、この自動注射装置の起動化により、保存エネルギーが保存エネルギー源から放出され、放出された保存エネルギーが液体成分を十分に加圧して、
破裂可能な膜を破裂させ、
液体成分を、流体分散部材を押し通して乾燥薬物成分と混合させ、
混合した液体成分および乾燥薬物成分を、針アセンブリを通して押し進める、自動注射装置。 - 請求項6に記載の装置において、前記流体分散部材がフィルタを備える、自動注射装置。
- 請求項6に記載の装置において、前記保存エネルギー源が、ハウジング・アセンブリを通してコレット・ロッドを前方に押し進める予め圧縮されたばねを備え、このコレット・ロッドの前方への移動が液体成分を加圧する、自動注射装置。
- 請求項6に記載の装置において、前記封止構造が、内部チャンバの内部壁に対する周囲の封止を形成する外周部を有する、自動注射装置。
- 請求項6に記載の装置において、前記封止構造および前記流体分散部材が単一のアセンブリである、自動注射装置。
- 請求項6に記載の装置において、前記針アセンブリがハウジング・アセンブリの前方の端部に向けて配置され、前記起動アセンブリがハウジング・アセンブリの後方の端部に向けて配置され、乾燥薬物成分が液体成分の前方に配置される、自動注射装置。
- 薬物を含み、作動するとこの薬物を自動的に自己投与する自動注射装置において、
内部チャンバを有し、該内部チャンバが乾燥薬物を入れる第1の区画、および乾燥薬物と混合すべき液体を入れる第2の区画を含む、ハウジング・アセンブリと、
第1の区画と第2の区画の間に位置するフィルタ・アセンブリであって、最初は、この自動注射装置の作動前に乾燥薬物を液体から密封しておく破裂可能な膜を有し、液体が通り抜けて第2の区画へ入る内部チャンバとフィルタを有し、液体が第1の区画から第2の区画へ通る際に流体の層流を作り出すフィルタ・アセンブリと、
ハウジング・アセンブリ内に支持され、保存エネルギー源を備える起動アセンブリであって、この自動注射装置の起動化により、保存エネルギーが保存エネルギー源から放出され、第2の区画の液体を加圧し、加圧された液体が破裂可能な膜を破裂させ、液体を、フィルタ・アセンブリを押し通して乾燥薬物と混合させる、起動アセンブリと、
乾燥薬物を混合した液体をハウジング・アセンブリから投与する針アセンブリとを備え、前記放出された保存エネルギーが、混合した液体および乾燥薬物を、針アセンブリを通して押し進める、自動注射装置。 - 請求項12に記載の装置において、前記フィルタ・アセンブリが、ハウジング・アセンブリの内部壁に係合して周囲の封止を形成する封止アセンブリをさらに含む、自動注射装置。
- 請求項12に記載の装置において、前記フィルタ・アセンブリは第2の区画内で移動可能である、自動注射装置。
- 請求項12に記載の装置であって、前記第2の区画と針アセンブリの間に配置されて、溶けていない薬物が針アセンブリに入るのを防ぐ薬物支持構造をさらに含む、自動注射装置。
- 請求項12に記載の装置において、前記保存エネルギー源が予め圧縮されたばねを備える、自動注射装置。
- 請求項12に記載の装置において、前記起動アセンブリが、保存エネルギーの放出に応じて第2の区画内の液体を加圧するプランジャ・アセンブリをさらに備える、自動注射装置。
