Abstract
【解決手段】 放電管10に内側から外側に向けて窪んだ凹部10aを形成し、この凹部10aにアマルガム17を固定する。さらに放電管10の内径よりも若干小さい外径を有する筒状の覆い部材18を凹部10aを内側から覆う所定位置に配置して、覆い部材18の両端近傍に放電管10の外側から内側に向けて覆い部材18の側面よりも深く突出させた凸部10bおよび10cを形成することにより、所定位置に覆い部材18を位置決めする。

Claims (5)
- アマルガムを固定した放電容器を備えた低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプの製造方法であって、
前記放電容器の内面に形成された内側から外側に向けて窪んだ凹部に前記アマルガムを固定し、
少なくとも一部が前記放電容器の内面に略沿った形状の覆い部材を、前記放電容器内において前記凹部を内側から覆う位置に移動させ、
該位置に前記覆い部材を位置決めすることを特徴とする低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプの製造方法。 - 前記放電容器を石英ガラスからなるものとし、
前記凹部に金または白金を基材とする金属膜を形成し、
該金属膜上に、前記アマルガムを加熱溶着して固定することを特徴とする請求項1記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプの製造方法。 - アマルガムを固定した放電容器を備えた低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプであって、
前記放電容器の内面に内側から外側に向けて窪んだ凹部が形成され、
該凹部に前記アマルガムが固定され、
少なくとも一部が前記放電容器の内面に略沿った形状の覆い部材を備えるとともに、該覆い部材が前記凹部を内側から覆う位置で前記放電容器内に位置決めされていることを特徴とする低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプ。 - 前記放電容器が、石英ガラスからなるものであり、
前記アマルガムが、金または白金を基材とする金属膜を介して前記凹部に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項3記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプ。 - 前記覆い部材が、前記放電容器の内径よりも若干小さい外径を有する筒状体であることを特徴とする請求項3または4記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプ。
