Abstract
Description
このように全芳香族ポリエステルの原料として使用される4−ヒドロキシ安息香酸や2−ヒドロキシ−6−ナフトエ酸などの自己縮合性の原料モノマーからなる芳香族ポリエステルは、優れた特性を有するものの不溶・不融であり、非常に取扱が困難であることが知られている。

自己縮合性の原料モノマーとして一種のみを用いることにより、組成の均一な膜が得られ、好ましい。
以下、本発明の好ましい実施の形態を図面を参照にして詳細に説明する。
一方、原料導入管7及び排気口2には原料モノマーの供給量及び排出量を調整する為のバルブb、cが設けられる。
バルブb、バルブcを閉じた状態で、ホットプレート5上に支持体としてアルミ板とガラス板をそれぞれ取り付け、真空槽3内にセットし、蒸発用容器6に原料モノマーa(4−アセトキシ安息香酸)を仕込んだ。蒸発用容器6、真空槽3、及びホットプレート5をそれぞれ260℃、280℃、300℃に設定し、設定温度に到達した後、バルブcを開けて系内を排気した(圧力は0.002Torr)。その後、バルブcを閉じ、バルブbを開いた。しばらくした後、再びバルブbを閉じてバルブcを開け、真空槽内を排気した(圧力は0.002Torr)。この操作を3回繰り返した後、バルブcを閉じ、バルブbを開けてから60分後に系を開放し、ホットプレート上の支持体を取り出した所、ガラス板とアルミ板それぞれの上に4−アセトキシ安息香酸を原料とする全芳香族ポリエステルの薄膜が形成されたことを確認した。

Claims (5)
- 基板表面温度を原料蒸発源よりも高温にして行うことを特徴とする請求項2記載の全芳香族ポリエステル膜の製造方法。
- 請求項2〜4のいずれかに記載の製造方法により得られることを特徴とする全芳香族ポリエステル膜。
