Abstract
【解決手段】 吸気弁のバルブリフト量及び作動角を所定の可変範囲内で連続的に変更可能なリフト作動角変更機構を備える。B11では機関回転数とアクセル開度APOに基づいて目標作動角を算出する。B12では実作動角を検出する作動角センサの異常を判定する。B13では目標作動角と実作動角に基づいて正常時制御量を演算する。B14では、機関回転数に基づいて故障時制御量を算出する。従って故障時制御量は可変範囲の中間の値を取り得る。B15では正常時には正常時制御量を、異常時には故障時制御量をアクチュエータ51へ出力する。

Claims (8)
- 内燃機関の吸気弁又は排気弁のリフト特性量を所定の可変範囲内で連続的に変更可能な可変動弁機構と、
この可変動弁機構を駆動するアクチュエータと、
上記リフト特性量の検出値を取得する検出手段と、
機関運転状態に基づいて上記リフト特性量の目標値を算出する目標値算出手段と、
上記目標値と検出値とに基づいて、上記リフト特性量の第1指令値を算出する第1指令値算出手段と、
上記リフト特性量の第2指令値を設定する第2指令値設定手段と、
上記検出手段の異常を判定する異常判定手段と、
上記検出手段の正常時には第1指令値をアクチュエータへ出力し、異常時には第2指令値をアクチュエータへ出力する指令値切換手段と、を有し、
上記第2指令値設定手段は、上記可変範囲における中間の値を含む範囲の中から第2指令値を設定することを特徴とする可変動弁機構の制御装置。 - 上記第2指令値設定手段は、機関回転数が大きいときに第2指令値が大きくなるように、機関回転数に基づいて第2指令値を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可変動弁機構の制御装置。
- 上記第2指令値設定手段は、上記目標値が大きいときに第2指令値が大きくなるように、上記目標値に基づいて第2指令値を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可変動弁機構の制御装置。
- 上記正常時に、上記目標値と第1指令値との関係を学習値として算出及び記憶する学習手段を有し、
上記第2指令値設定手段は、上記目標値と学習値とに基づいて第2指令値を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可変動弁機構の制御装置。 - 上記可変動弁機構が少なくとも2つ設けられ、
かつ、上記正常時に、上記目標値と2つの可変動弁機構の検出値の偏差との関係を偏差学習値として算出及び記憶する偏差学習手段を有し、
上記第2指令値設定手段は、上記偏差学習値と目標値と他方の可変動弁機構に対する第1指令値とに基づいて、一方の可変動弁機構に対する第2指令値を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可変動弁機構の制御装置。 - 上記可変動弁機構が少なくとも2つ設けられ、
かつ、上記正常時に、上記目標値と2つの可変動弁機構の検出値の比との関係を比学習値として算出及び記憶する比学習手段を有し、
上記第2指令値設定手段は、上記比学習値と目標値と他方の可変動弁機構に対する第1指令値とに基づいて、一方の可変動弁機構に対する第2指令値を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可変動弁機構の制御装置。 - 上記可変動弁機構が、クランクシャフトに連動して回転する駆動軸と、この駆動軸に偏心して設けられた偏心カムと、上記アクチュエータにより回動される制御軸と、この制御軸に偏心して設けられた制御カムと、この制御カムに揺動可能に取り付けられるロッカアームと、吸気弁又は排気弁をリフトさせるための揺動カムと、上記ロッカアームの一端と偏心カムとを連係する第1リンクと、ロッカアームの他端と揺動カムとを連係する第2リンクと、を有するリフト作動角変更機構であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の可変動弁機構の制御装置。
- 内燃機関の吸気弁又は排気弁のリフト特性量を所定の可変範囲内で連続的に変更可能な可変動弁機構と、上記可変動弁機構を駆動するアクチュエータと、上記リフト特性量の検出値を取得する検出手段と、を有する可変動弁機構の制御方法であって、
機関運転状態に基づいて上記リフト特性量の目標値を算出するステップと、
上記検出手段の異常を判定するステップと、
上記検出手段の正常時には、上記目標値と検出値とに基づいて、上記リフト特性量の第1指令値を算出するステップと、を有し、この第1指令値がアクチュエータへ出力され、
かつ、上記検出手段の異常時には、上記可変範囲における中間の値を含む範囲の中から上記リフト特性量の第2指令値を設定するステップを有し、この第2指令値がアクチュエータへ出力されることを特徴とする可変動弁機構の制御方法。
