Abstract
【解決手段】被検体(22)の寸法及び位置について、放射線ビーム(54)の被検体前方フィルタ処理(60、62)及びコリメートでは検出器(20)飽和を完全に防ぐには不十分な場合があることを認識する。ニアレスト・ネイバー補正、偏心型ファントム補正、偏心型合成データ補正、スカウト・データ補正、平面型ラジオグラム補正、及び他の多くの補正方法により、利用不能な飽和したCT検出器のデータを補正する。本発明は、エネルギ識別型CTシステム(10)でも、従来のCTシステム(10)でも、二重kVp方式システムのような他の多重エネルギCTシステム(10)でも適用可能である。

Description
本発明のさらにもう一つの観点では、CTデータ補正の方法が、補正済みのCTビューを逆投影せずにフィルタ処理するステップと、フィルタ処理されたCTビューの平坦性の測度を決定するステップとを含んでいる。この方法はさらに、平坦性の測度から補正済みCTビューについて補正の値を決定するステップと、補正の値に基づいて補正済みCTビューを再補正するステップとを含んでいる。

- 放射線源(14)と、
複数の放射線検出器(20)を有する放射線検出器(20)アセンブリ(18)と、
該放射線検出器(20)アセンブリ(18)に接続されて動作し、レンジ超過検出器(20)の出力を非レンジ超過検出器(20)の出力で補正するようにプログラムされているコンピュータ(36)と、
を備えたスキャナ(10)。 - 前記コンピュータ(36)はさらに、レンジ超過検出器(20)の前記出力を前記レンジ超過検出器に隣接する非レンジ超過検出器(20)の前記出力で補正するようにプログラムされている、請求項1に記載のスキャナ(10)。
- 前記コンピュータはさらに、
前記非レンジ超過検出器(20)の前記出力(128)の複製であるデータ集合を生成し、
該データ集合(128)の鏡像であるデータを有する鏡像データ集合(132)を生成し、
符号変更したデータ集合(134)を得るように前記鏡像データ集合の各々のデータ要素の符号変更を行ない、次いで、
前記符号変更したデータ集合(134)を前記非レンジ超過検出器(20)の前記出力(128)に付加する

- 前記コンピュータ(36)はさらに、検出器(20)のレンジ超過を生ずるには不十分な線量レベルで前記スカウト走査を実行するようにプログラムされている、請求項5に記載のスキャナ(10)。
