Abstract
【解決手段】この冷陰極管駆動装置は、高周波電圧を生成するインバータ回路1と、インバータ回路1により生成された高周波電圧を昇圧する昇圧トランス2と、昇圧トランス2による昇圧後の高周波電圧により点灯する冷陰極管3と、冷陰極管3に対して並列に接続されリアクタンス素子4を有する直列回路6と、直列回路6の導通電流値i2と昇圧トランス2の二次側電流値i1とを合成し冷陰極管3のランプ電流値iLを間接的に検出する合成回路8と、合成回路8により間接的に検出されたランプ電流値iLに基づいてインバータ回路1を制御して、冷陰極管3のランプ電流を制御する制御回路9とを備える。

Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1に係る冷陰極管駆動装置の構成を示す回路図である。図1において、インバータ回路1は、直流電源に接続され高周波電圧を生成する回路である。また、昇圧トランス2は、インバータ回路1により生成された高周波電圧を昇圧するトランスである。
本発明の実施の形態2に係る冷陰極管駆動装置は、複数本の冷陰極管を駆動する装置である。図5は、本発明の実施の形態2に係る冷陰極管駆動装置の構成を示す回路図である。図5において、駆動部21−i(i=1,・・・,n,n>1)は、インバータ回路1から出力される高周波電圧を元にして、それぞれ、1本の冷陰極管3を駆動する回路である。駆動部21−iは、それぞれ、図1と同様の昇圧トランス2、冷陰極管3、直列回路6、抵抗7、合成回路8およびダイオードDを有する。この実施の形態2では、制御回路9は、駆動部21−1〜21−nにおける合成回路8により間接的に検出されたランプ電流値に基づいてインバータ回路1を制御して、駆動部21−1〜21−nにおける冷陰極管3のランプ電流、ランプ電力等を制御する。

Claims (3)
- 高周波電圧を生成するインバータ回路と、
上記インバータ回路により生成された高周波電圧を昇圧する昇圧トランスと、
上記昇圧トランスによる昇圧後の高周波電圧により点灯する冷陰極管と、
上記冷陰極管に対して並列に接続されリアクタンス素子を有する直列回路と、
上記直列回路の導通電流値と上記昇圧トランスの二次側電流値とを合成し上記冷陰極管のランプ電流値を間接的に検出する合成回路と、
上記合成回路により間接的に検出されたランプ電流値に基づいて上記インバータ回路を制御して、上記冷陰極管のランプ電流を制御する制御回路と、
を備えることを特徴とする冷陰極管駆動装置。 - 前記合成回路は、前記冷陰極管に対して並列に存在する浮遊容量の導通電流値を打ち消す割合で、前記昇圧トランスの2次側電流値に前記直列回路の導通電流値を合成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の冷陰極管駆動装置。
- 前記直列回路のリアクタンス素子は、前記昇圧トランスの二次巻線とともに共振回路を形成する共振コンデンサであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の冷陰極管駆動装置。
