Abstract
【解決手段】 上流側触媒22の上流側及び下流側、下流側触媒23の下流側に、それぞれ第1排気センサ24、第2排気センサ25、第3排気センサ26を設置し、第3排気センサ26の出力に基づいて第2排気センサ25の目標電圧を決定し、この目標電圧と第2排気センサ25の出力とに基づいて上流側触媒22の上流側の目標空燃比を決定すると共に、第3排気センサ26の出力に応じて目標空燃比を補正する。そして、第3排気センサ26の出力に応じて目標空燃比を補正する領域では、第3排気センサ26の出力による目標空燃比のリッチ側への補正量が大きくなるほど、目標空燃比制御ゲイン(比例項ゲイン、積分項ゲイン)を小さくするように設定する。

Description
まず、図1に基づいてエンジン制御システム全体の概略構成を説明する。内燃機関であるエンジン11の吸気管12の最上流部には、エアクリーナ13が設けられ、このエアクリーナ13の下流側には、吸入空気量を検出するエアフローメータ14が設けられている。このエアフローメータ14の下流側には、スロットルバルブ15とスロットル開度を検出するスロットル開度センサ16とが設けられている。

上式において、kp×(sox−目標sox)は比例項である。
Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に2つの触媒を直列に配置し、上流側触媒の上流側に第1排気センサ、前記2つの触媒間に第2排気センサ、下流側触媒の下流側に第3排気センサをそれぞれ配置し、前記第3排気センサの出力に基づいて前記第2排気センサの目標電圧を決定し、この目標電圧と前記第2排気センサの出力とに基づいて前記上流側触媒の上流側の目標空燃比を決定する目標空燃比制御手段と、前記目標空燃比と前記第1排気センサで検出した空燃比との偏差に基づいて空燃比をフィードバック制御する空燃比フィードバック制御手段とを備えた内燃機関の空燃比制御装置において、
前記第3排気センサの出力に応じて前記目標空燃比を補正する目標空燃比補正手段を備え、
前記目標空燃比制御手段は、前記第3排気センサの出力に応じて前記第2排気センサの出力による前記目標空燃比の変化量が通常時よりも小さくなるように制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。 - 前記目標空燃比制御手段は、前記第3排気センサの出力がリーンになるほど、前記目標空燃比の制御ゲインを小さくすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
