Abstract
【解決手段】CDMA技術を採用することができる無線デジタル通信システムにおいて、ダウンリンクリソースアロケーションのためCQ(channel quality)測定を行う方法およびシステムにあっては、ネットワークによって提供される基準チャネル上の通信に基づき、UE(user equipment)12が連続的にRSCPを測定する。UE12は、構成によるか又はローテーションにより、連続してタイムスロットISCPを測定し、ダウンリンクCQを通知する。UE12は、RSCPにあっては、1回通知し、ISCPにあっては、タイムスロットごとに、通知することができ、あるいは、RSCP/ISCP比の幾つかの関数、例えば変調パラメータか、又は全てのタイムスロットの符号化を組み合わせたもの、を通知する。

Claims (13)
- CDMA(code-division multiple access)技術を採用しているワイヤレスデジタル通信システムにおいて、少なくとも1つのUE(user equipment)と基地局とにダウンリンクリソースをアロケートするため、CQ(channel quality)測定を行う方法であって、
(a)前記基地局が、測定を行うため、前記UEによって使用される信号を前記UEに伝送するステップと、
(b)前記UEが、ステップ(a)で伝送された前記基地局から前記信号を受信すると、これに応答して、RSCP(received signal code power)の第1の測定を行うステップと、
(c)前記UEが、ステップ(a)で伝送された前記基地局から前記信号を受信すると、これに応答して、ISCP(interference signal code power)の第2の測定を行うステップと、
(d)前記UEが、RSCPとISCP値とを備えたCQ信号を、特定のフォーマットで、前記基地局に伝送するステップと
を備え、
前記第1および第2の測定と、前記フォーマットとは、予め選択される
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1において、前記第1の測定は、RSCPを連続的に測定するステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記第1および第2の測定結果を使用して、RSCP/ISCP比を生成するステップをさらに備え、前記フォーマットは、前記RSCP/ISCP比を備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記伝送するステップは、RSCPとISCPの両方の測定結果を前記基地局に伝送するステップを備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記第2の測定を行うステップは、ソフトシンボルエラーを検出するステップを備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記フォーマットは、各タイムスロットの前記第1および第2の測定結果を備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、RSCP/ISCP比を生成し、このRSCP/ISCP比に基づいて変調パラメータを前記基地局に伝送するステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記基地局は、前記UEから受信した前記CQ信号に応答して、前記UEに伝送するために使用される前記パワーレベルを調整することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記フォーマットが全てのタイムスロットに対する共通のCQと、各タイムスロットに対する差分CQとを備えるように、前記第1および第2の測定結果を別々に符号化するステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記フォーマットは、全てのチャネルに対する前記ISCPと、各チャネルに対する前記平均値との差分とを備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記フォーマットは、前記チャネルの全てに対するRSCPの平均値と、各チャネルに対する前記平均値との差分とを備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記第1および第2の測定するステップは、N個のフレームにおいてそれぞれタイムスロットの異なるグループを測定し、この測定を、N個のフレームごとに繰り返すステップを備えたことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、前記フォーマットは、MCSレベルの所定のセットのうちの1つのセットを備えたことを特徴とする方法。
