Claims (8)
- 送信リンク上で光信号を送信する方法であって、
前記送信リンクの色分散が所定の分散閾値より大きいとき、デュオバイナリ信号を送信することと、
前記送信リンクの色分散が前記所定の色分散閾値より小さいとき、逆データ信号を送信することとを備える、方法。 - 送信リンク上で送信される光信号を生成する方法であって、
第1出力ポートにおいてデュオバイナリ信号を生成し、第2出力ポートにおいて逆データ信号を生成するように、2重出力変調器を駆動することと、
前記送信リンク上で前記第1出力ポートから前記デュオバイナリ信号を送信することと、前記送信リンク上で前記第2出力ポートから前記逆データ信号を送信することとを切り替えるために、前記送信リンクの前記色分散に基づいて、前記変調器に結合される光学スイッチを制御することとを備える、方法。 - 送信リンク上で光信号を送信する装置であって、
光信号を生成するための変調器と、
生成された光信号の波形を変化させるために、前記送信リンクの前記色分散に基づいて、前記変調器のバイアスを制御するバイアス制御装置とを備える、装置。 - 前記バイアス制御装置が、
前記送信リンクの前記色分散に基づいてバイアス制御信号を生成するための制御ユニットと、
前記制御ユニットからの前記制御信号に基づいて、ヌル・バイアスとピーク・バイアスとの間で変化するように前記変調器の前記バイアスを制御するために、前記制御ユニットおよび前記変調器に結合されるバイアス制御とを含む、請求項4に記載の装置。 - 前記バイアス制御が、生成された光信号の電力を検出して、電力監視信号を生成するための検出器にさらに結合され、前記バイアス制御が、前記変調器のバイアス条件を維持するために、前記制御信号および前記電力監視信号に基づいて、前記変調器の前記バイアスを変化させる、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 生成された光信号の前記波形が、デュオバイナリ信号波形と逆データ信号波形との間で変更される、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 送信リンク上で光信号を送信する装置であって、
前記送信リンクの前記色分散が所定の分散閾値より大きいとき、光デュオバイナリ信号を送信し、前記送信リンクの前記色分散が前記所定の分散閾値より小さいとき、逆データ信号を送信する手段を備える、装置。
