Abstract
Description
リング形状インサート11は、該リング形状インサート11に嵌合し且つベーン作動機構のすべての可動要素を担持するユニゾン・リング23と共に、ボルト21によって中央ハウジング1に取り付けられた一種のカートリッジに相当する可変ノズル装置を形成する。この構成に関して、リング形状インサートの周辺リング13を中央ハウジング1に取り付けるときに、ノズル・リング23が中央ハウジング1に軸方向に支持された環状円板部材45に対して脚段部分43によって軸方向に挟み付けられるようにする。このようにして、ボルト21のみによって、完全な可変ノズル装置が中央ハウジング1に連結される。中央ハウジング1およびリング形状インサート11は、可変ノズル装置の可動要素を保護する一種の安定シェル(殻体)を形成する。
図面に示された実施例においては、排気ハウジングが可変ノズル装置のカートリッジを完全に包囲し、かつ、その周辺リングが排気ハウジングのフランジ部材と軸方向に整合するようになされており、その結果、周辺リングおよびフランジ部材の双方が、中央ハウジングのフランジ部分に支持された一つの同じ半径方向延長密封部材に当接されているけれども、可変ノズル装置カートリッジおよび排気ハウジングを中央ハウジングに装架させる、他の変更された構造または形状の採用が可能である。例えば、鎖錠ダボ24があれば、ボルト21をなくしてもよく、完全可変ノズル装置が、締結部材49によって与えられる間接的接触の使用によって中央ハウジングに連結されるようにしてもよい。
Claims (10)
- 可変ノズル装置(11、23、25、27、29、31)と、該可変ノズル装置から機械的および/または熱的に分断された排気ハウジング(47)とを備えた、ターボ過給機。
- 前記排気ハウジング(47)が、タービン・ホイール(5)を有するシャフト(3)を担持する中央ハウジング(1)に直接装架されており、それによって、両ハウジング(1、47)が、前記可変ノズル装置(11、23、25、27、29、31)および前記タービン・ホイール(5)が配置されるところの内側空間を画成している、請求項1に記載のターボ過給機。
- 前記排気ハウジング(47)が、前記中央ハウジング(1)に取り付けられたガス入口部分(53)と、軸方向延長間隙を伴って前記可変ノズル装置のガス出口部分(65)を包囲するガス出口部分(63)と、を備えている、請求項2に記載のターボ過給機。
- 前記排気ハウジング(47)のガス入口部分(53)がフランジ部材(51)を備えており、該フランジ部材(51)が、密封要素(55)を介して前記中央ハウジング(1)に対して軸方向に当接され、且つ、締結部材(49)によって該中央ハウジング(1)に装架されている、請求項3に記載のターボ過給機。
- 前記排気ハウジング(47)と前記可変ノズル装置(11、23、25、27、29、31)との間のガス漏れを回避するための密封装置(65、67)を備えている、請求項3または4に記載のターボ過給機。
- 前記密封装置(65、67)が、前記可変ノズル装置の前記ガス出口部分(65)に形成された円周方向凹部を備え、該円周方向凹部はピストン・リング(67)を収容している、請求項5に記載のターボ過給器において、前記排気ハウジングの前記ガス出口部分(63)に少なくとも1つの別の円周方向凹部(69)が形成されており、該別の円周方向凹部(69)は、前記排気ハウジングのガス入口側と前記ピストン・リング(67)との間の前記軸方向延長間隙に開口している、請求項5に記載のターボ過給機。
- 前記可変ノズル装置(11、23、25、27、29、31)が、ノズル・リング(23)と外側リング(15)との間に挿入された円周方向配置ベーン(27)を備えており、前記外側リングは前記ノズル・リングに嵌合し且つ前記中央ハウジング(1)に連結された周辺リング(13)と一体に形成されている、請求項3ないし6のいずれかに記載のターボ過給機。
- 前記ベーン(27)は前記ノズル・リング(23)にピボット運動自在に支持され、前記ノズル・リングは、前記中央ハウジング(1)に支持された環状円板部材(45)に対して前記周辺リング(13)によって軸方向に押し付けられている、請求項7に記載のターボ過給機。
- 前記排気ハウジング(47)の前記ガス入口部分(53、51)は、さらに別の軸方向延長間隙(57)を伴って前記可変ノズル装置の前記周辺リング(13)を包囲している、請求項7または8に記載のターボ過給機。
- 前記周辺リング(13)は、前記排気ハウジング(47)のフランジ部材(51)が前記中央ハウジング(1)に固定される際に介挿される密封要素と同じ密封要素(55)に当接される、請求項7または8に記載のターボ過給機。
