Abstract
Description
予測できないほど優れた高耐荷重容量及び優れた銅不動態化の両者を示す潤滑剤組成物は、主成分として合成エステルベースオイルを含み、少量成分としてDITMPA及びベンゾトリアゾールやトルトリアゾール(メチルベンゾトリアゾールとしても知られている)などの四六黄銅不動態化剤を含む。驚くべきことに、トリクレシルホスフェート(TCP)耐荷重/耐摩耗添加剤の量を減少させ、トルトリアゾール又はベンゾトリアゾールなどの四六黄銅不動態化剤の量を減少させ、少量のDITMPAを含む潤滑剤組成物が耐荷重容量の向上、銅不動態化の向上及び酸化/腐食安定性の向上を呈することを知見した。
式3:3−(ジ−イソブトキシ−チオホスホニルスルファニル)―2−メチル−プロピオン酸(DITMPA)
下記実施例1〜7により、配合済みのタービンオイル潤滑剤組成物へのDITMPAの添加は、耐荷重容量基準試験における性能を増強し、この試験における添加剤含有タービンオイルの得点を高める作用をすることが示されるであろう。実施例1〜7の特徴は以下のとおりである。
実施例1〜7をさらに、Table 3に示したデータに基づく内部酸化腐食安定性(OCS)良/不良(credit/debit)評価に供した。結果は以下のとおりであった。
HLPS試験方法は、ガスタービンエンジンのある部品、例えばベアリング送油管内にみられる単相流状態下で、合成エステルベース航空機用潤滑剤のコーキング傾向を評価するために設計されたものである。
実施例1、2、3及び7を米国陸軍気相コーキング試験(USNVPC)に供した。この試験の目的は、加熱されたコークス器管内を通過する際に、熱いターボオイル蒸気(空気−油ミスト)の堆積物形成傾向を決定することにある。堆積物の質量は、mg単位で測定した。
コーキング器噴霧器試験は、ジェットエンジンベアリング室の熱区域をシミュレートしようとするものである。この試験は、合成航空機用潤滑剤の長時間にわたる試験温度、圧力及び油流条件内で蒸気ミスト及び液体膜堆積物を形成する傾向を評価する。
Claims (14)
- 主要部分としての合成エステルをベースとするベースストックと、少量部分としての(a)3−(ジ−イソブトキシ−チオホスホニルスルファニル)−2−メチル−プロピオン酸(DITMPA)及び(b)四六黄銅不動態化剤と、を含む耐荷重容量及び酸化/腐食安定性が向上した潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記合成エステルをベースとするベースストックは、4〜12個の炭素原子を含むカルボン酸と、4〜15個の炭素原子及び2〜8個のエステル化可能な水酸基を含む脂肪族ポリオールとのエステル化反応生成物である、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記合成エステルストックは、工業用ペンタエリスリトールとC4〜C12カルボン酸混合物とのエステル化反応生成物である、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記DITMPA添加剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油組成物の約0.01〜約0.40wt%であり、前記四六黄銅不動態化剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油組成物の約0.01〜約0.40wt%である、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記DITMPA添加剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油組成物の約0.02〜約0.20wt%であり、前記四六黄銅不動態化剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油組成物の約0.05〜約0.10wt%である、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記DITMPA添加剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油組成物の約0.03〜約0.10wt%である、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記四六黄銅不動態化剤は、トルトリアゾール、ベンゾトリアゾール又はこれらの組み合わせである、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 合成エステルベースストック潤滑剤組成物油に、DITMPA及び四六黄銅不動態化剤を添加することにより、該潤滑剤組成物油の耐荷重容量及び酸化/腐食安定性を向上させる方法。
- 前記DITMPA添加剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油組成物の約0.01〜約0.40wt%であり、前記四六黄銅不動態化剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油組成物の約0.01〜約0.40wt%である、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記DITMPA添加剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油組成物の約0.02〜約0.20wt%であり、前記四六黄銅不動態化剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油の約0.05〜約0.10wt%である、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記DITMPA添加剤の総量は、完全に配合された潤滑油組成物の約0.03〜約0.10wt%である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記四六黄銅不動態化剤は、トルトリアゾール、ベンゾトリアゾール又はこれらの組み合わせである、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記合成エステルをベースとするタービンオイルストックは、4〜12個の炭素原子を有するカルボン酸と、4〜15個の炭素原子及び2〜8個のエステル化可能な水酸基を有する脂肪族ポリオールと、のエステル化反応生成物である、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記合成エステルをベースとするタービンオイルストックは、工業用ペンタエリスリトールとC4〜C12カルボン酸の混合物とのエステル化反応生成物である、請求項8に記載の方法。
