Abstract
Description
薄型でロングストロークのパッシブラジエーターを利用する本発明の一態様は、パッシブラジエーター設計の性能をさらに高める段階的なロールシステムの使用を含む。
図34および図35は、エンクロージャー内のスピーカーとパッシブラジエーターを示す本発明に係る他の構成を示す。スピーカーエンクロージャーは、図21、図22、図23、図24のスピーカーボックスとは異なり、チューブ状に構成されている。一方の端部にドライバー(スピーカー)312が配置され、他方の端部に本発明に係るパッシブラジエーター314が配置されている。図9、図15、図16、図17、図29、図30、図31、図32、図33に示して説明したパッシブラジエーターを使用することができる。スピーカーのボイスコイルの故障の最も大きな理由の1つは、脆化と高温による絶縁破壊である。内部と外部の間で空気の移動がない密閉ボックスシステムでは、熱エネルギーは速やかに放散しない。本構成では、スピーカーとドライバーを含むチューブ316はアルミニウムからなり、冷却を促進するための周囲リブ318を備えている。測定では、チューブ内の空気の温度は、周囲温度が約70°Fの時に、中程度のスピーカー電力レベルで、5°Fの低下を示している。このようなボイスコイル温度の低下は著しいものである。増幅器(例えば320)をチューブに設置する場合には、アルミニウムなどの高い熱導電性を有する材料の使用による空気の温度低下はさらに顕著となる。
本発明の各種実施形態によって、非可動部品の固定された機械的構造の構成を補完する電磁環境において可動部品(すなわち、振動板、サスペンション、ボイスコイル)の動作を最適化する構成を使用して、設計者は所与の取付深さにおける空気の動きを最大化させることができる。一実施形態では、本発明は、設計者が利用可能な取付深さで最適化されるオーバーエクスカーション(外側/内側リミッター)を有することを可能とする。例えば、本発明は、設計者がわずか3.5インチの取付深さにフィットする直径15インチのスピーカーを約±1インチの振動板エクスカーションで設計することを可能とする。同サイズの動作ピストンを有する従来のスピーカーは、6〜7インチの取付深さを必要とする。
Claims (11)
- 実質的にフラットな硬い部分を有する薄型スピーカーシステムであって、
前記硬い部分は、デュアルサスペンションシステムを可能とし、所定の距離で分離され、外側周囲上でフレームと接続され、所定のエクスカーションに干渉しないように中央部分で最小寸法を維持するような形状を有し、ある手段を介してボイスコイルに接続され、
前記ボイスコイルは、所定値の巻き高さを有し、所定の間隔と所定の高さで磁界内を内側および外側に移動し、最大エクスカーションにおける、所定のサスペンション、所定のボイスコイル高さ、所定の間隔は、最小取付深さを維持しながら、最大エクスカーションにおける静止部分との電磁結合を維持しながら、前記所定の硬い部分が最大/最小位置に移動することを可能とする、薄型スピーカーシステム。 - 請求項1において、
磁石組立部品がバスケット内に配置されて、エクスカーションを最大化するとともに取付深さを最小化する、薄型スピーカーシステム。 - 請求項1において、
磁石組立部品が、取付深さを最小化するようにロッドを介して外側に延びている、薄型スピーカーシステム。 - 請求項3において、
前記硬い部分は、磁石組立部品のための中空の中央部を有し、最大内側ストロークと最大外側ストローク時に、その動きがボイスコイルとオーバーエクスカーションにダメージを与えないように制限する、薄型スピーカーシステム。 - 請求項1において、
前記硬い部分は、2つよりも多くのサスペンションを前記フレームに接続させることができる、薄型スピーカーシステム。 - 請求項5において、
磁石組立部品がバスケット内に配置され、エクスカーションを最大化するとともに取付深さを最小化する、薄型スピーカーシステム。 - 請求項5において、
磁石組立部品が、取付深さを最小化するようにロッドを介して外側に延びている、薄型スピーカーシステム。 - 請求項7において、
前記硬い部分は、磁石組立部品のための中空の中央部を有し、最大内側ストロークと最大外側ストローク時に、その動きがボイスコイルとオーバーエクスカーションにダメージを与えないように制限する、薄型スピーカーシステム。 - 請求項1において、
