Claims (11)
- サイドシルまたはロッカーパネル部品を製造する方法であって、該部品の軸線に直交する断面において実質的に“C”字形の断面形を有するタイプの前記部品に関する方法において、
前記断面形に一致するスペースを定め、該スペースの対向末端部分を有し、それぞれの該末端部分が金型分割線に隣接して配置される金型キャビティを作製し、ここで、前記末端部分の間にある前記スペースの大体の中点を決定し、該中点と前記末端部分の一つとの間に、一体蝶番を形成するためのキャビティスペースを備え、
ある量の溶融樹脂を前記キャビティ内に、前記蝶番を形成するためのキャビティスペースを越えて前記末端部分まで射出し、前記溶融樹脂を硬化させ、前記樹脂を前記金型キャビティから取り出し、それによって、蝶番付きの取りつけ脚が実質的に“C”字形の断面形の部品の一つの末端部分に隣接して形成される、前記実質的に“C”字形の断面形の部品を得る、
ことから成ることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記部品を覆う塗膜が同時成形されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記塗膜が、前記量の溶融樹脂を前記キャビティ内に射出する前に、前記キャビティ内に備えつけられることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記部品を自動車枠部材に隣接配置し、前記取りつけ脚を前記枠部材に向って回転移動させ、前記取りつけ脚部材を前記枠部材に固定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- サイドシルまたはロッカーパネル自動車部品を製造する方法であって、
該部品が該部品に沿って延びる軸線を有し、該部品が、前記軸線と直交する断面で見たときに“C”字形を有し、また該部品が、間隔をとって配置された上部脚および下部脚ならびに該上部脚と下部脚とを相互連結する中間部分を有し、また該中間部分が、内側表面と外装面とを有し、前記脚がどちらも該内側表面から離れるように延びているような前記部品に関する方法において、
前記“C”字形に一致するスペースを定め、該スペースの対向末端部分を有し、該スペースの該末端部分が互いに180゜よりも小さな角をなすように相対配置される金型キャビティを作製し、
前記対向末端部分の一つの近くの前記スペース内に一体蝶番を形成するためのスペースを備え、
ある量の溶融樹脂を前記キャビティ内に、前記スペースを実質的に満たして、前記蝶番を形成するためのスペースを越えて流れるように射出し、前記溶融樹脂を硬化させて、前記樹脂を前記キャビティから取り出し、
それによって、前記脚の一つが、前記部品の一端に沿って形成されて回転移動に適した蝶番付きの取りつけ脚を定めて、前記上部脚および下部脚を互いに実質的に閉じた“C”字位置に相対配置することができるようになっている、サイドシルまたはロッカーパネルが得られる、
ことから成ることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記上部脚と下部脚とを互いに約180゜〜270゜の角度をなすように相対配置することができることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記上部脚と下部脚との前記末端部分を互いに約225゜〜270゜の角度をなすように相対配置することができることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- サイドシルまたはロッカーパネル自動車部品であって、
該部品が該部品に沿って延びる軸線を有し、該部品が、一対の脚部分および該脚部分を連結する中間部分を有し、該部品が、前記軸線と直交する実質的に“C”字形の断面を有し、前記中間部分が外装面を有し、前記脚が該外装面から離れるように延びており、前記脚の一つに隣接して蝶番付きの継ぎ手を備え、該部品を前記蝶番において曲げて実質的に閉じた“C”字配置とすることができる、
ことを特徴とする自動車部品。 - 前記脚が互いに約180゜〜270゜の角度をなすように相対配置されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の自動車部品。
- 前記脚が互いに約225゜〜270゜の角度をなすように相対配置されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の自動車部品。
- さらに、前記外装面を被覆する塗膜ラミネートを有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載のサイドシル自動車部品。
