Abstract
【解決手段】 約10〜約2000ppmのフリース含有量を有する溶融法ポリカーボネート樹脂を含む組成物を押し出すことを含んでなる、熱可塑性シートの製造方法。かかる組成物は、優れた均一性を有するシートの押出しを可能にする。
Description
3種の組成物を製造した。比較例1では、界面合成で製造したポリカーボネートを使用した。比較例2では、2000ppmを超えるフリース含有量を有する溶融法ポリカーボネートを使用し、実施例1では、2000ppm未満のフリース含有量を有する溶融法ポリカーボネートを使用した。各組成物は、加工剤であるペンタエリトリトールテトラステアレート(PETS)、及びIRGAFOS(登録商標)168として入手した亜リン酸エステル熱安定剤であるトリス(2,4−ジ−tert−ブチルフェニル)ホスフィットを含んでいた。比較例1の組成物は、オフライン混合方法に従って製造した。添加剤をポリカーボネート粉末中に配合して濃縮物を形成し、次いで押出機内での溶融混合によって濃縮物をポリカーボネート組成物に添加した。比較例2及び実施例1の組成物は、オンライン方法を用いて製造した。まず添加剤を一緒に混合し、次いで圧縮ペレットに形成した。次に、かかるペレットをポリカーボネート溶融物に添加した。ポリカーボネートの重量平均分子量(Mw)は、ポリカーボネート標準を用いた高速液体クロマトグラフィーで測定した。メルトボリュームレート(MVR)は、ISO 1133に従って規定の温度及び質量で測定した。次いで、測定したMVR値及び下記の式を用いてメルトインデックス比(MIR)を算出した。
パーセント光透過率及び曇り度は、ASTM D1003に従い、Gardner XL835比色計を用いて380〜750nmの波長範囲及び2.5mmの試料厚さで測定した。同じ装置を用い、ASTM D1925に従って同じ波長範囲及び同じ試料厚さで黄色度指数(YI)を測定した。

- 約10〜約2000ppmのフリース含有量を有する溶融法ポリカーボネート樹脂を含む組成物を押し出すことを含んでなる、熱可塑性シートの製造方法。
- 熱可塑性シートが多層熱可塑性シートである、請求項1記載の方法。
- 溶融法ポリカーボネート樹脂が約50〜約2000ppmのフリース含有量を有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 溶融法ポリカーボネート樹脂が約100〜約1800ppmのフリース含有量を有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 組成物が約85重量%以上の溶融法ポリカーボネートを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 多層熱可塑性シートが、単位面積当たりの質量について約2%未満の相対標準偏差を有する複数のセクションを含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- 請求項2記載の方法で製造した多層熱可塑性シート。
- 単位面積当たりの質量について約2%未満の最大相対偏差を有する複数のセクションを含む、請求項7記載の多層シート。
