Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 改善されるように流体が通過できる有限空間内に配置された複数の無電極紫外線ランプと、
前記ランプが前記空間内で紫外線電磁放射を放出するように電磁放射で前記無電極紫外線ランプを励起させる手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする流体改善区域。 - 前記空間は、マイクロ波反射材料によって画定されており、それによって、マイクロ波空洞が形成され、この空洞の少なくとも一部は、前記流体が透過でき、
前記手段は、前記空洞内にマイクロ波電磁放射を放出するように配置されたマグネトロンを備える、
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体改善区域。 - 前記手段は、
前記ランプのそれぞれに一つずつのマグネトロンが対応する、複数のマグネトロンと、
前記ランプのそれぞれに一つずつの空洞が対応する、複数の空洞と、
を備えており、各空洞は、対応する一つのマグネトロンと、前記流体が透過できるマイクロ波反射多孔性材料とによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体改善区域。 - 前記手段は、
前記ランプを励起させるように配置された一つまたは複数の誘導結合器と、
前記誘導結合器を駆動するための少なくとも一つの高周波電源と、
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体改善区域。 - 前記流体改善区域は、前記空間内に配置された複数の紫外線活性化光触媒表面をさらに備えており、それによって、これらの光触媒表面は、前記紫外線電磁放射によって活性化されると、前記流体内の物質と反応し、それによって、この流体を改善することを特徴とする請求項1、2、3または4のいずれかに記載の流体改善区域。
- 前記表面は、前記流体が透過できる少なくとも一つの多孔性基体上にあることを特徴とする請求項5記載の流体改善区域。
- 前記表面は、前記ランプの外部表面であり、前記被覆は、マイクロ波電磁放射に対して実質的に透明になるように十分に薄いことを特徴とする請求項5記載の流体改善区域。
- 前記表面は、前記流体が通過できる間隙を有する層を形成する粒子上にあることを特徴とする請求項5記載の流体改善区域。
- 前記粒子は、前記触媒の粒子であることを特徴とする請求項8記載の流体改善区域。
- 前記粒子は、前記触媒以外の物質の粒子であり、前記触媒で被覆されていることを特徴とする請求項8記載の流体改善区域。
- 前記無電極紫外線ランプは、複数の球体または円筒体から構成されており、これらの球体または円筒体は、それらの間に前記流れが通過できる間隙を提供するように前記空間内に配置されており、前記ランプは、紫外線活性化光触媒の被覆を有しており、それによって、この光触媒は、前記紫外線電磁放射によって活性化されると、前記流体内の物質と反応し、それによって、この流体を改善し、前記被覆は、マイクロ波電磁放射に対して実質的に透明になるように十分に薄いことを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体改善区域。
- 前記空間は、前記流体が透過できるマイクロ波反射材料を含むマイクロ波反射材料によって画定されており、それによって、マイクロ波空洞が形成され、
前記手段は、前記空洞内にマイクロ波電磁放射を放出するように配置されたマグネトロンを備える、
ことを特徴とする請求項11記載の流体改善区域。 - 前記空間は、内部を前記流体が流れることができるダクト内にあることを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体改善区域。
- 前記流体改善区域は、前記ダクト内に配置された複数の紫外線活性化光触媒表面をさらに備えており、それによって、これらの光触媒表面は、前記紫外線電磁放射によって活性化されると、前記ダクト内を流れる流体内の物質と反応し、それによって、この流体を改善することを特徴とする請求項13記載の流体改善区域。
