Abstract

Claims (11)
- 多層タンクを通って燃料蒸気が透過するのを減らす方法であって、該多層タンクは少なくとも一つのポリマー構造層を有し、該方法は、
上張りを形成する工程を具備し、
該上張りは、燃料蒸気の透過を防ぐバリアー材と、構造部材とを有し、該構造部材は該多層タンクの少なくとも一つのポリマー構造層に適合し、
該多層タンクの少なくとも一つのポリマー構造層の少なくとも一部を覆って該上張りを配置する工程とを具備した、上記方法。 - 前記上張りを配置する工程が、前記多層タンク内に形成された蒸気を透過するシームの少なくとも一部を覆って前記上張りを配置することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記上張りは、バリアー層を含む多層を含み、該バリアー層は、前記バリアー材から形成され、前記構造材から形成された内側及び外側構造層の間に配置された、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記上張りの前記バリアー材はポリマーである、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記上張りの前記バリアー材は金属である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記多層タンクと前記上張りの一つ又は両方を加熱して、前記上張りの前記構造材と、前記多層タンクの前記少なくとも一つのポリマー構造層との間の接着を促進する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記上張りに圧力を加えて、前記上張りの前記構造材と、前記多層タンクの前記少なくとも一つのポリマー構造層との間の接着を促進する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記上張りに熱と圧力を加えて、前記上張りの前記構造材と、前記多層タンクの前記少なくとも一つのポリマー構造層との間の接着を促進する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記タンクの成形過程に、前記上張りを、前記多層タンクの前記ポリマー構造層の少なくとも一部に形成する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記上張りに被せて、プラスチック保護層を設ける工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記上張りに被せて材料を射出成形し圧力を加えて、前記上張りの前記構造材と、前記多層タンクの前記少なくとも一つのポリマー構造層との間の接着を促進する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
