Abstract
【解決手段】 有機ハイドライド含有燃料を水素と脱水素燃料とに分離する脱水素反応を行う脱水素反応器22と、分離された水素と脱水素燃料のそれぞれを内燃機関10に供給する供給手段と、水素と脱水素燃料の両方を内燃機関10に供給する第1のモードと、脱水素燃料のみを内燃機関10に供給する第2のモードと、を切り換えて前記内燃機関を運転する制御手段と、を備える。

(1)式で示される脱水素反応は吸熱反応である。
次に、この発明の実施の形態2について説明する。実施の形態2では、実施の形態1と同様に水素添加燃焼モードで余剰となったガソリンをストイキ燃焼モードで使用する。そして、実施の形態2では、ストイキ燃焼モードでの運転中にガソリンバッファタンク48内のガソリンが所定値以下となった場合は、脱水素反応器22に水素化ガソリンを噴射してガソリンを生成するようにしている。
次に、この発明の実施の形態3について説明する。実施の形態3では、実施の形態1と同様に水素添加燃焼モードで余剰となったガソリンをストイキ燃焼モードで使用する。更に、実施の形態3では、水素添加燃焼モードによる運転中にガソリンバッファタンク48内のガソリン量が所定値以上となった場合は、脱水素反応による水素の生成を停止してストイキ燃焼モードによる運転を一時的に行うようにしている。
次に、この発明の実施の形態4について説明する。実施の形態4のシステムは、水素のみで内燃機関10を運転する水素エンジンモードを備えたものである。

Claims (11)
- 有機ハイドライド含有燃料を水素と脱水素燃料とに分離する脱水素反応を行う脱水素反応手段と、
分離された水素と脱水素燃料のそれぞれを内燃機関に供給する供給手段と、
水素と脱水素燃料の両方を内燃機関に供給する第1のモードと、脱水素燃料のみを内燃機関に供給する第2のモードと、を切り換えて内燃機関を運転する制御手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする水素利用内燃機関。 - 前記脱水素反応手段は、前記第1のモードで前記脱水素反応を行い、
前記第1のモードにおいて、分離された脱水素燃料を貯蔵する第1の貯蔵手段を備え、
前記第2のモードでは、前記第1の貯蔵手段に貯蔵されている脱水素燃料を内燃機関に供給することを特徴とする請求項1記載の水素利用内燃機関。 - 前記脱水素反応手段は、前記第2のモードにおいて、第1の貯蔵手段における脱水素燃料の貯蔵量が所定値以下となった場合に前記脱水素反応を行い、
前記第2のモードにおける前記脱水素反応により分離された水素を貯蔵する第2の貯蔵手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項2記載の水素利用内燃機関。 - 前記第2のモードにおいて、第2の貯蔵手段における水素の貯蔵量が所定値以上となった場合は、前記第2の貯蔵手段に貯蔵されている水素を内燃機関に供給することを特徴とする請求項3記載の水素利用内燃機関。
- 前記第1のモードにおいて、第1の貯蔵手段における脱水素燃料の貯蔵量が所定値以上となった場合は、前記脱水素反応を停止し、前記第1の貯蔵手段に貯蔵されている脱水素燃料を内燃機関に供給することを特徴とする請求項2〜4のいずれかに記載の水素利用内燃機関。
- 前記第1のモードがストイキ燃焼モードであり、前記第2のモードがリーンバーン燃焼モードであることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の水素利用内燃機関。
- 有機ハイドライド含有燃料を水素と脱水素燃料とに分離する脱水素反応手段と、
分離された水素と脱水素燃料のそれぞれを内燃機関に供給する供給手段と、
水素のみを内燃機関に供給する第1のモードと、水素と脱水素燃料の両方を内燃機関に供給する第2のモードと、脱水素燃料のみを内燃機関に供給する第3のモードと、を切り換えて内燃機関を運転する制御手段と、
分離された脱水素燃料を貯蔵する第1の貯蔵手段と、
分離された水素を貯蔵する第2の貯蔵手段と、を備え、
前記制御手段は、内燃機関の運転状態と、前記第1又は第2の貯蔵手段における水素又は脱水素燃料の貯蔵状態とに基づいて前記第1〜第3の運転モードを切り換えることを特徴とする水素利用内燃機関。 - 前記脱水素反応手段は、前記第2のモードで前記脱水素反応を行い、
前記第1の貯蔵手段は、前記第2のモードにおける前記脱水素反応で分離された脱水素燃料を貯蔵し、
前記第3のモードでは、前記第1の貯蔵手段に貯蔵されている脱水素燃料を内燃機関に供給することを特徴とする請求項7記載の水素利用内燃機関。 - 前記脱水素反応手段は、前記第3のモードにおいて、第1の貯蔵手段における脱水素燃料の貯蔵量が所定値以下となった場合に前記脱水素反応を行い、
前記第2の貯蔵手段は、前記第3のモードにおける前記脱水素反応で分離された水素を貯蔵することを特徴とする請求項8記載の水素利用内燃機関。 - 前記第3のモードにおいて、第2の貯蔵手段における水素の貯蔵量が所定値以上となった場合は、前記第2の貯蔵手段に貯蔵されている水素を内燃機関に供給することを特徴とする請求項9記載の水素利用内燃機関。
- 前記第2のモードにおいて、第2の貯蔵手段における脱水素燃料の貯蔵量が所定値以上となった場合は、前記脱水素反応を停止し、前記第2の貯蔵手段に貯蔵されている脱水素燃料を内燃機関に供給することを特徴とする請求項8〜10のいずれかに記載の水素利用内燃機関。
