Abstract
【解決手段】 一定の分類範囲に従い1つまたは複数の受信メッセージを分類するバルクフィルタを実現するに際して、その範囲は値の少なくとも1つのバルク分類から値のノンバルク分類までを対象とする。メッセージの処理を自動的に円滑に行えるようにするため受信メッセージをさらに分類する第2のフィルタを備える。分類の範囲は、受信メッセージが値のバルク分類の範囲に向かうか、収まる傾向がある、または値のノンバルク分類に向かう/範囲に収まる傾向があると判定する公算に基づく値の連続範囲を含む。また、バルクフィルタまたは複数のフィルタは、バルク分類とノンバルク分類との差を判別または定義する調整可能な閾値設定を含むことができる。

Claims (32)
- 受信したメッセージをフィルタ処理するシステムであって、
少なくとも1つのバルク分類の値から少なくとも一つのノンバルク分類の値までを範囲とする分類の範囲に従い、1つまたは複数の受信メッセージを分類するバルクフィルタと、
前記メッセージの処理を自動的に行うために前記受信メッセージをさらに分類する少なくとも第2のフィルタと、

- 前記バルクフィルタは、さらに、前記バルク分類の値と前記ノンバルク分類の値との差を判別する調整可能な閾値設定を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記メッセージは、電子メールおよび音声符号化テキストファイルの少なくとも一方を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のフィルタは、緊急度スコアを割り当てるために使用される緊急度フィルタである、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記緊急度フィルタは、緊急メッセージおよび非緊急メッセージのレビューが遅れることで生じる予想コストを割り当てる実用新案を採用する、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルクフィルタおよび前記第2のフィルタのうち少なくとも一方は、新規メッセージを調べ、メッセージに緊急度フィールド内に表される緊急度値と、バルクメールフィールド内に表されるバルクメールの公算値とを注釈として付ける、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- メッセージ緊急度に関係する推論を考慮したポリシーまたは規則、および/または、バルクに関する考慮事項を含んだポリシーコンポーネントを、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記規則または前記ポリシーは、バルクである公算が閾値よりも高いバルクメッセージをフォルダに再度割り当てて後でレビューするために、前記ポリシーコンポーネントにより使用される、ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 緊急度別に分類されている残りの電子メールを他のフォルダに再度割り当てる、ことをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルクフィルタは、予想緊急度の計算を使用し、その後、重み付け計算を行って、メッセージがバルクであるか否かを判別する、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記予想緊急度は、関数

- 前記バルクフィルタおよび前記第2のフィルタとの相互作用に関する閾値設定、トレーニング設定、およびバイパス設定のうちの少なくとも1つを有するユーザインターフェースを、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルクフィルタの考慮対象からいくつかのメッセージを自動的に除去するヘッダアナライザを、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のシステム。
- メッセージに内部というマークを付けて、バイパスメカニズムを呼び出すこと、をさらに含む特徴とする請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 初期値判定について計算した後、時間依存コスト関数を計算するコンポーネントを、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 請求項1に記載の前記バルクフィルタおよび前記第2のフィルタのうちの少なくとも一方を実施するために格納されたコンピュータ可読命令を有する、ことを特徴とするコンピュータ可読媒体。
- メッセージのフィルタ処理を行うシステムであって、
バルクメールメッセージのためのメッセージスコアを自動的に判定する手段と、
前記スコアおよび所定の閾値に基づいて前記メッセージをフィルタ処理する手段と、
を具備したことを特徴とするシステム。 - メッセージの処理を行う方法であって、
第1のフィルタを使用してメッセージに対するバルクメッセージスコアを判定するステップと、
第2のフィルタを使用して前記メッセージに対する緊急度スコアを判定するステップと、
前記バルクメッセージスコアおよび前記緊急度スコアのうち少なくとも一方に基づいて他のメッセージから前記バルクメッセージをソートするステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 調整可能な閾値を使用して前記ソートを行うステップを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
- 1つまたは複数のクラシファイアを使用して前記第1のフィルタおよび前記第2のフィルタのうち少なくとも一方を実行するステップを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルタの少なくとも1つをバイパスし、他のメッセージから前記バルクメッセージをソートするステップを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
- フィルタの並列結合およびフィルタの直列結合の少なくとも1つを使用し、他のメッセージから前記バルクメッセージをソートするステップを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記バルクメッセージスコアを判定するために重み付けオペレーションを実行するステップを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
- 重要度クラシファイアを使用し、その後に緊急度クラシファイア使用することによりバルクメッセージを分類するステップを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
- 初期値フィルタを使用した後に、時間依存コストフィルタを使用するステップを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。

前記バルクメッセージスコアおよび前記重要度スコアのうち少なくとも一方に基づいて他のメッセージから前記バルクメッセージをソートするステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 緊急度フィルタを使用して、重要であると判定されているメッセージをソートするステップを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項30に記載の方法。
- データ構造体が格納されているコンピュータ可読記憶媒体であって、
電子メッセージを記述する第1のデータフィールドと、
前記電子メッセージに対するバルクスコアを記述する第2のデータフィールドと、
前記電子メッセージに対する緊急度スコアを記述する第3のデータフィールドと、
を具備したことを特徴とするコンピュータ可読媒体。
