Abstract
【解決手段】 タッピンねじ10では、ねじ山角度が30°となるようにねじ部30を形成しているので、相手物へのねじ込みトルクを小さくすることができ、かつ、ねじ部30から下穴周面の雌ねじ部にかかる力の径方向成分、即ち相手物を径方向外側へ押し広げようとする力を小さくすることができる。これにより、相手物が径方向外側へ押し広げられて割れるのを防止することができる。また、ねじ部30の山頂部分130を円弧状としたことにより、タッピンねじ10のねじ込み時に、相手物を無理なく塑性変形させることができる。

Claims (3)
- 軸部に形成されたねじ部で相手物の下穴に雌ねじを形成しながら、前記相手物に締結されるタッピンねじであって、
前記ねじ部は、ねじ山角度が略30°であり、前記軸部全長の半分以下の所定範囲において、その山頂部分が切り欠きによって部分的に切り欠かれており、
前記タッピンねじの軸心を含む断面において、前記ねじ部の山頂部分と谷底部分とを接続する接続部が、相手物の下穴径よりも小径の領域で円弧状になっていることを特徴とするタッピンねじ。 - 前記断面において、前記ねじ部の山頂部分と谷底部分とを接続する接続部が、前記相手物の下穴径よりも大径の領域で直線状となっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッピンねじ。
- 前記断面において、前記ねじ部の山頂部分が円弧状となっていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のタッピンねじ。
