Abstract
【課題】樹脂製、アルミニウム合金製等の軟質材製のワークの締付けに最適なタッピンねじを提供する。
【解決手段】通常ねじ山10と、当該通常ねじ山10より大径の雌ねじ成形ねじ山12とを備え、前記雌ねじ成形ねじ山12より頭部側に位置する前記通常ねじ山10のピッチのうち、何れかのピッチが他のピッチよりも大きく設定したタッピンねじ1による。このタッピンねじ1は、ねじ込みトルクの低減及び締結力の向上を兼ね備えるものとなり、軟質材製から硬質材製まで、あらゆるワークに適用可能なものとなる。

前記雌ねじ成形ねじ山及び当該雌ねじ成形ねじ山に隣接する通常ねじ山間のピッチを、他の通常ねじ山間のピッチよりも大きく設定することによって、ねじ込み時には全ての通常ねじ山の進み側フランク面および圧力側フランク面が双方共に雌ねじに接触しない一方、ねじ込み完了後には軸力の作用で全ての通常ねじ山の圧力側フランク面だけが雌ねじに食い込むように構成されていることを特徴とするタッピンねじ。
Claims (2)
- 通常ねじ山と、当該通常ねじ山より大径の雌ねじ成形ねじ山とを脚部に成形したタッピンねじにおいて、
前記雌ねじ成形ねじ山より頭部側に位置する前記通常ねじ山のピッチのうち、何れかのピッチが他のピッチよりも大きく設定されていることを特徴とするタッピンねじ。 - 前記通常ねじ山の圧力側フランク角が、前記雌ねじ成形ねじ山の圧力側フランク角よりも小さくなるように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッピンねじ。
