【解決手段】エレクトロクロミック層3および反射膜兼電極膜4がその背面側からイオン絶縁酸化膜5で被覆される。

Description
ここで電子e- は、透明導電膜および反射膜兼電極膜間に電位差を設けることにより、各発色膜側の電極で移動を開始するものであり、その移動エネルギーに伴って電解質膜内の微水が加水分解し、イオンの移動が生じるので、前記各発色膜内で酸化還元反応が起こり、着消色現象が起こるのである。

Claims (4)
- ガラス基板(1)と、該ガラス基板(1)の背面側に形成される透明導電膜(2)と、該透明導電膜(2)の背面側に形成されるエレクトロクロミック層(3)と、該エレクトロクロミック層(3)の背面側に形成される反射膜兼電極膜(4)とを備えるエレクトロクロミックミラーにおいて、前記エレクトロクロミック層(3)および反射膜兼電極膜(4)がその背面側からイオン絶縁酸化膜(5)で被覆されることを特徴とするエレクトロクロミックミラー。
- 前記イオン絶縁酸化膜(5)が、Al2 O3 またはTa2 O5 から成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載のエレクトロクロミックミラー。
- 前記エレクトロクロミック層(3)および前記ガラス基板(1)間に、イオン絶縁酸化膜(9)を介在させたことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のエレクトロクロミックミラー。
- 前記ガラス基板(1)を除く部分が腐食防止塗料層(10)で覆われることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のエレクトロクロミックミラー。
