Abstract
【解決手段】ドナーフィルム80は基材フィルム50、基材フィルム50上に位置した光−熱変換層55、光−熱変換層55上に位置した転写層75、及び光−熱変換層55と転写層75間に介在した緩衝膜65を備える。平板表示素子用ドナーフィルムを製造することにおいて光−熱変換層55と転写層75間に緩衝膜65を導入することによって、転写層75のドナー基板70に対する接着力を改善させることができる。結果的に、ドナーフィルム80を用いてアクセプタ基板上に転写層70を転写させて有機膜パターンを形成することにおいて不良パターンがない養護なパターンを形成することができる。

Description
100μmの厚さを有して、ポリテレフタル酸エチレンで構成された基材フィルムを提供した。前記基材フィルム上に光吸収性物質であるカーボンブラックを含む光−熱変換層を4μmの厚さに形成した。続いて、前記光−熱変換層上に層間挿入層をアクリル樹脂で形成するが、1μmの厚さに形成した。前記層間挿入層上に液状シリコン高分子である2577(Dow Corning社)を1μmの厚さにスピンコーティングして、前記コーティングされた2577(Dow Corning社)を25℃で10分間乾燥させた後、80℃で10分間熱処理して25℃で6時間以上放置することによって緩衝膜を形成した。前記液状シリコン高分子2577(Dow Corning社)は25℃で水分と反応して硬化する高分子であって、80℃における熱処理は硬化時間を短縮させる効果がある。前記緩衝膜上に発光性低分子のうち青色発光材料であるIDE105(Idemitsu社)が7重量%で含まれたIDE140(Idemitsu社)を全面に真空蒸着して転写層を形成することによって、ドナーフィルムを製造した。
前記層間挿入層上に液状シリコン高分子であるUVHC3000(General Electric社)を1μmの厚さにスピンコーティングして、前記コーティングされたUVHC3000(General Electric社)を25℃で10分間乾燥させた後、80℃で10分間熱処理してUVランプ(最大波長254nm)を用いて15分間硬化させることによって、緩衝膜を形成した。これを除いては前記実験例1と同一の方法でドナーフィルムを製造した。
<比較例1>
前記層間挿入層上にガラス転移温度が25℃以上(約100℃)である紫外線硬化型シーラント68(Norland社)を5μmの厚さにコーティングした後、80℃で10分間熱処理してUVランプ(最大波長254nm)を用いて15分間硬化させることによって、緩衝膜を形成した。これを除いては前記実験例1と同一の方法でドナーフィルムを製造した。
前記緩衝膜を形成しないものを除いて前記実験例1と同一の方法でドナーフィルムを製造した。

Claims (16)
- 基材フィルムと、
前記基材フィルム上に位置した光−熱変換層と、
前記光−熱変換層上に位置した転写層と、
前記光−熱変換層と前記転写層間に介在した緩衝膜と、
を有することを特徴とする平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。 - 前記緩衝膜は、ガラス転移温度Tgが25℃以下である物質を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。
- 前記ガラス転移温度が25℃以下である物質は、シリコン高分子であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。
- 前記緩衝膜は、液状シリコン高分子を前記光−熱変換層上に形成して;紫外線硬化、常温硬化、低温硬化及び触媒硬化で構成される群から選択される一つを用いて硬化することによって形成することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。
- 前記緩衝膜は、20μm以下の厚さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。
- 前記緩衝膜は、5μm以下の厚さを有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。
- 前記転写層は、発光性有機膜、正孔注入性有機膜、正孔輸送性有機膜、電子輸送性有機膜及び電子注入性有機膜で構成された群から選択される少なくても一つの膜を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。
- 前記転写層は、発光性有機膜であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。
- 前記有機膜は、各々低分子物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。
- 前記光−熱変換層と前記緩衝膜間に介在した層間挿入層をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板表示素子用ドナーフィルム。
- 画素電極が形成されたアクセプタ基板を提供して;
前記基板から一定間隔離隔された位置に基材フィルム、前記基材フィルム上に光−熱変換層、緩衝膜及び転写層を順に積層したドナーフィルムを前記転写層が前記基板に向けるように配置して;
前記基材フィルムの所定領域にレーザーを照射して前記転写層を前記画素電極上に転写することによって、前記画素電極上に有機膜パターンを形成することを特徴とする有機電界発光素子製造方法。 - 前記緩衝膜は、ガラス転移温度Tgが25℃以下である物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の有機電界発光素子製造方法。
- 前記ガラス転移温度が25℃以下である物質は、シリコン高分子であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の有機電界発光素子製造方法。
- 前記有機膜パターンは、発光性有機膜、正孔注入性有機膜、正孔輸送性有機膜、電子輸送性有機膜及び電子注入性有機膜で構成された群から選択される少なくても一つの膜を有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の有機電界発光素子製造方法。
- 前記有機膜パターンは、発光性有機膜パターンであることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の有機電界発光素子製造方法。
- 前記有機膜パターンは、各々低分子物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の有機電界発光素子製造方法。
