Description
本発明の芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物におけるA成分は、該樹脂組成物の主成分となる芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂である。代表的な芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂(以下、単に“ポリカーボネート”と称することがある)は、2価フェノールとカーボネート前駆体とを反応させて得られるものであり、反応の方法としては界面重縮合法、溶融エステル交換法、カーボネートプレポリマーの固相エステル交換法および環状カーボネート化合物の開環重合法等を挙げることができる。
(1)該ポリカーボネートを構成する2価フェノール成分100モル%中、BPMが20〜80モル%(より好適には40〜75モル%、さらに好適には45〜65モル%)であり、かつBCFが20〜80モル%(より好適には25〜60モル%、さらに好適には35〜55モル%)である共重合ポリカーボネート。
(2)該ポリカーボネートを構成する2価フェノール成分100モル%中、BPAが10〜95モル%(より好適には50〜90モル%、さらに好適には60〜85モル%)であり、かつBCFが5〜90モル%(より好適には10〜50モル%、さらに好適には15〜40モル%)である共重合ポリカーボネート。
(3)該ポリカーボネートを構成する2価フェノール成分100モル%中、BPMが20〜80モル%(より好適には40〜75モル%、さらに好適には45〜65モル%)であり、かつBis−TMCが20〜80モル%(より好適には25〜60モル%、さらに好適には35〜55モル%)である共重合ポリカーボネート。
(i)吸水率が0.05〜0.15重量%、好ましくは0.06〜0.13重量%であり、かつTgが120〜180℃であるポリカーボネート、あるいは
(ii)Tgが160〜250℃、好ましくは170〜230℃であり、かつ吸水率が0.10〜0.30重量%、好ましくは0.13〜0.30重量%、より好ましくは0.14〜0.27重量%であるポリカーボネート。

本発明のB成分であるポリ乳酸および/または乳酸類とその他のヒドロキシカルボン酸との共重合体の中で、ポリ乳酸は通常ラクタイドと呼ばれる乳酸の環状二量体から開環重合により合成され、その製造方法に関してはUSP1,995,970、USP2,362,511、USP2,683,136に開示されている。また乳酸とその他のヒドロキシカルボン酸の共重合体は通常ラクタイドとヒドロキシカルボン酸の環状エステル中間体から開環重合により合成され、その製造法に関してはUSP3,635,956、USP3,797,499に開示されている。開環重合によらず直接脱水重縮合により乳酸系樹脂を製造する場合には、乳酸類と必要に応じて他のヒドロキシカルボン酸を好ましくは有機溶媒、特にフェニルエーテル系溶媒の存在下で共沸脱水縮合し、特に好ましくは共沸により留出した溶媒から水を除き実質的に無水の状態にした溶媒を反応系に戻す方法によって重合することにより、本発明に適した重合度の乳酸系樹脂が得られる。原料の乳酸類としてはL−およびD−乳酸、またはその混合物、乳酸の二量体であるラクタイドのいずれも使用できる。また乳酸類と併用できる他のヒドロキシカルボン酸類としては、グリコール酸、3−ヒドロキシ酪酸、4−ヒドロキシ酪酸、4−ヒドロキシ吉草酸、5−ヒドロキシ吉草酸、6−ヒドロキシカプロン酸などがあり、さらにヒドロキシカルボン酸の環状エステル中間体、例えばグリコール酸の二量体であるグリコライドや6−ヒドロキシカプロン酸の環状エステルであるε−カプロラクトンを使用することもできる。乳酸系樹脂の製造に際し、適当な分子量調節剤、分岐剤、その他の改質剤などの添加は差し支えない。また乳酸類、および共重合体成分としてのヒドロキシカルボン酸類はいずれも単独あるいは2種以上で使用することができ、さらに得られた乳酸系樹脂を2種以上混合使用してもよい。本発明においては乳酸類のみの重合体であるポリ乳酸が好適に用いられ、とりわけL−乳酸を主原料とするポリL−乳酸樹脂が好ましい。B成分の配合量は、A成分100重量部あたり1〜100重量部であるが、5〜80重量部が好ましく、10〜30重量部がより好ましい。かかる配合量が1重量部より小さい場合には、流動性、剛性の向上は見られず、また100重量部を超えると、耐熱性の低下が著しくなるため好ましくない。
本発明のC成分である無機充填材は、ガラス繊維、炭素繊維、ガラスフレーク、ワラストナイト、カオリンクレー、マイカ、タルクおよび各種ウイスカー類(チタン酸カリウムウイスカー、ホウ酸アルミニウムウイスカーなど)といった一般に知られている各種フィラーを使用することができる。無機充填材の形状は繊維状、フレーク状、球状、中空状を自由に選択でき、樹脂組成物の強度や耐衝撃性の向上のためには繊維状、フレーク状のものが好適である。
本発明の組成物−IIにおいて使用されるD成分の難燃剤としては、臭素化エポキシ樹脂、臭素化ポリスチレン、臭素化ポリカーボネート、臭素化ポリアクリレート、および塩素化ポリエチレンなどのハロゲン系難燃剤、モノホスフェート化合物およびホスフェートオリゴマー化合物などのリン酸エステル系難燃剤、ホスホネートオリゴマー化合物、ホスホニトリルオリゴマー化合物、ホスホン酸アミド化合物などのリン酸エステル系難燃剤以外の有機リン系難燃剤、有機スルホン酸アルカリ(土類)金属塩、ホウ酸金属塩系難燃剤、および錫酸金属塩系難燃剤などの有機金属塩系難燃剤、並びにシリコーン系難燃剤等が挙げられる。また別途、難燃助剤(例えば、アンチモン酸ナトリウム、三酸化アンチモン等)や滴下防止剤(フィブリル形成能を有するポリテトラフルオロエチレン等)等を配合し、難燃剤と併用してもよい。これらの配合により樹脂組成物に難燃性が付与され、電気・電子分野、OA分野、家電分野などに適した樹脂組成物となる。
本発明においては、さらに良好な色相かつ安定した流動性を有する芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物を得るため、E成分としてリン系安定剤を含有することが好ましい。殊にリン系安定剤として、下記一般式(ii)に示すペンタエリスリトール型ホスファイト化合物を配合することが好ましい。
本発明のF成分である衝撃改良剤としては弾性重合体を使用することができ、弾性重合体の例としては、ガラス転移温度が10℃以下のゴム成分に、芳香族ビニル、シアン化ビニル、アクリル酸エステル、メタクリル酸エステル、およびこれらと共重合可能なビニル化合物から選択されたモノマーの1種または2種以上が共重合されたグラフト共重合体を挙げることができる。より好適な弾性重合体は、ゴム成分のコアに前記モノマーの1種または2種以上のシェルがグラフト共重合されたコア−シェル型のグラフト共重合体である。
(2)耐熱性:ISO75−1および2に準拠して、荷重たわみ温度を測定した。荷重:1.80MPa。
(3)表面外観性:図1に示すノートパソコンの筐体成形品を成形し成形品表面を目視観察し、真珠光沢が著しく不均一な色調を呈する場合を×、均一な色調を呈する場合を○とした。
(4)色相:カラーコンピュータ(TC−1800MK−II:東京電色(株)製)を用いて、図1に示すノートパソコンの筐体成形品の鏡面部分におけるL値、およびb値を測定した。
(5)流動性:流路厚1mm、流路幅8mmのアルキメデス型スパイラル長を射出成形機(住友重機械工業(株)製:SG−150U)によりシリンダー温度280℃、金型温度70℃、射出圧力98.1MPaで測定した。
(6)燃焼性:米国アンダーライターラボラトリー社の定める方法(UL94)により、試験片厚さ1.6mmにおける難燃性を評価した(リン酸エステル系難燃剤を配合したもののみ評価)。
(A成分)
PC−1:ポリカーボネート樹脂パウダー(帝人化成(株)製:パンライト L−1250WP、粘度平均分子量23,900)
PC−2:ポリカーボネート樹脂成形品粉砕物(ポリカーボネート樹脂ペレット(帝人化成(株)製:パンライト L−1250、粘度平均分子量23,700)を120℃で5時間熱風循環式乾燥機により乾燥後、射出成形機(東芝機械(株)製:IS−150EN)によりシリンダー温度290℃、金型温度80℃、成形サイクル40秒で曲げ特性用成形品を成形した際のスプールとランナー部を集め、直径8mmの小孔を多数有する金属製スクリーンを設置した粉砕機((株)朋来鉄工所製SB−210)にて、70kg/hの処理能力で破砕し、V型ブレンダーにて均一にブレンドした破砕物)
PC−3:ポリカーボネート樹脂成形品粉砕物(市場で自動車のヘッドランプレンズに使用された成形品(透光部分の厚み約3mm)を水洗および乾燥した後、PC−2の場合と同様の粉砕条件で粉砕し、さらにブレンドした破砕物。該成形品はその表層にアクリル系硬化樹脂(厚み10μm)が被覆されていた。)
PLA:ポリ乳酸(三井化学(株)製:LACEA H−100J)
C−1:ガラス繊維(日本電気硝子(株)製:ECS−03T−511、平均径13μm、カット長3mmのチョップドストランド)
C−2:ワラストナイト(ナイコミネラルズ社製:NYGLOS4)
C−3:タルク(林化成(株)製:HST−0.8)
D−1:リン酸エステル系難燃剤(旭電化工業(株)製:アデカスタブ FP−500)
E−1:ジステアリルペンタエリスリトールジホスファイト(旭電化工業(株)製:アデカスタブPEP−8)
F−1:コア−シェル型弾性重合体(呉羽化学工業(株)製:パラロイドEXL−2602、コアがブタジエン80重量%、シェルがメチルメタクリレート16重量%およびエチルアクリレート4重量%であるコア−シェル型弾性重合体)
PTFE:フィブリル形成能を有するポリテトラフルオロエチレン(ダイキン工業(株)製:ポリフロン MPA FA−500)
DC30:無水マレイン酸とα−オレフィンとの共重合体からなる折れ抑制剤(三菱化学(株)製:ダイヤカルナPA30M)
表1〜3に示す組成で芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂、ポリ乳酸、および無機充填材、並びにリン系安定剤、およびリン酸エステル系難燃剤などを、径30mmφのベント式二軸押出機[(株)日本製鋼所製TEX30XSST]に供給し、シリンダー温度260℃、スクリュー回転数150rpm、吐出量20kg/h、およびベント減圧度3kPaで溶融押出してペレット化した。
無機充填材のC−1を第2供給口からサイドフィーダーを用いて供給し、残りの成分を全てタンブラーで予備混合して第1供給口から供給した。なお、PTFEはPC−1中に2.5重量%となる濃度で予め均一に混合し、かかる混合物をタンブラーに供給した。
すべての成分をタンブラーを用いて均一に混合して予備混合物を作成し、かかる混合物を押出機の第1供給口より供給した。なお、PTFEはPC−1中に2.5重量%となる濃度で予め均一に混合し、かかる混合物をタンブラーに供給した。

Claims (9)
- (A)芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂(A成分)100重量部、(B)ポリ乳酸および/または乳酸類とその他のヒドロキシカルボン酸との共重合体(B成分)1〜100重量部、並びに(C)無機充填材(C成分)0.3〜100重量部からなり、かつA成分100重量部当たりのB成分の組成割合(B重量部)とC成分の組成割合(C重量部)が、下記式(I)を満たす範囲にある芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物。
0.3×B ≦ C ≦ 4×B (I) - (A)芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂(A成分)100重量部、(B)ポリ乳酸および/または乳酸類とその他のヒドロキシカルボン酸との共重合体(B成分)1〜100重量部、(C)無機充填材(C成分)0.3〜100重量部、並びに(D)難燃剤(D成分)0.05〜50重量部からなり、かつA成分100重量部当たりのB成分の組成割合(B重量部)とC成分の組成割合(C重量部)が、下記式(I)を満たす範囲にある芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物。
0.3×B ≦ C ≦ 4×B (I) - A成分100重量部当たりのB成分の組成割合(B重量部)とD成分の組成割合(D重量部)が、下記式(II)を満たす範囲にある請求項2に記載の芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物。
0.05×B ≦ D ≦ 10×B (II) - C成分は、天然鉱物の粉砕物からなる無機充填材である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物。
- さらに、A成分100重量部当たり、(E)リン系安定剤(E成分)0.001〜1重量部を配合してなる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物。
- 前記D成分は、塩素原子および臭素原子を含有しない化合物である請求項2〜5のいずれか1項に記載の芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物。
- 前記D成分は、リン酸エステル系難燃剤である請求項6に記載の芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物。
- さらに、A成分100重量部当たり、(F)衝撃改良剤(F成分)0.2〜50重量部を含有してなる請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物。
- 前記A成分は、再利用された芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂をA成分100重量%中5重量%以上含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂組成物。
