Claims (7)

  1. 活性炭担体材料に伴なわれた0.1〜10重量%のイリジウム及び0.1〜10重量%の錫を含む固体成分並びに 2 、Br 2 及びCl 2 、ハロゲン化水素、気体ヨウ化水素酸、炭素数12以下のハロゲン化アルキル及びハロゲン化アリール並びにそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる蒸気状ハロゲン化物成分を含んでなる、気相カルボニル化法において低級アルキルアルコール、前記アルコールのエーテル及びエステル誘導体並びにそれらの混合物を含む反応体からエステル及びカルボン酸を製造するのに有用なカルボニル化触媒システム
  2. 前記触媒が0.1〜2重量%のイリジウム及び0.1〜5重量%の錫を含む請求項1に記載のカルボニル化触媒システム
  3. 前記ハロゲン化物成分がヨウ化水素、ヨウ化メチル、ヨウ化エチル、1−ヨードプロパン、2−ヨードブタン、1−ヨードブタン、臭化水素、臭化メチル、臭化エチル、ヨウ化ベンジル及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求項1に記載のカルボニル化触媒システム
  4. 前記反応体がメタノールである請求項1に記載のカルボニル化触媒システム。
  5. 前記イリジウムが三塩化イリジウム、水和三塩化イリジウム、ヘキサクロロイリデート及びヘキサクロロイリデート(IV)からなる群から選ばれる請求項1に記載のカルボニル化触媒システム
  6. 前記錫成分が塩化錫(II)、アルキルカルボン酸塩(炭素原子の少なくとも1つが錫に結合し、アルキル基の炭素数が1〜10である)、アリールカルボン酸塩(炭素原子の少なくとも1つが錫に結合し、アリール基の炭素数が6〜24である)、シュウ酸錫(II)及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求項1に記載のカルボニル化触媒システム
  7. 前記錫成分が塩化錫(II)、シュウ酸錫(II)及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求項1に記載のカルボニル化触媒システム
