Abstract
【解決手段】CT検出器(10)用の非ピクセル型シンチレータ・アレイ(56)は、互いに対して平行に揃えられている多数のセラミックス繊維(88)又は単結晶繊維で構成され、パック(86)の線量効率が極めて高くなる。各々の繊維は、散乱損を小さくしてフォトダイオード(60)に光を放出するように設計されている。繊維の寸法(断面径)は、高分解能用であるほど微小とし、繊維の寸法がシンチレータ・アレイの全体にわたって一様にすることができる。各繊維は互いに対して平行に揃えられ、シンチレータ・アレイも全体として一様になる。
