Abstract
【解決手段】流体媒体1に、熱処理2,3,55とUV照射処理4を組み合わせて適用することで、流体媒体1を滅菌し、場合によりウイルスを不活性化する連続方法及びそのための装置であって、流体媒体1の熱処理2は40℃〜135℃の滅菌温度で行い、UV照射処理4は5〜300W/m2の照射密度で行う連続方法及びそのための装置。

Description
本発明の主題は、熱処理とUV照射処理を組み合わせて適用することによって、滅菌(又は殺菌)するための、及び適当である場合流体媒体の、特に水性反応媒体のウイルスの不活性化をするための連続方法(又はプロセス)であって、
流体媒体(即ち、「製品又は生産品:product」)の熱処理を40〜135℃の滅菌温度で行い、照射を5〜300W/m2の照射密度で行うことを特徴とする連続方法である。
使用される変形可能らせん状の中空円筒は、製品の供給と排出のため、分配ヘッドに両端にて接続された、波形のプラスチックホースであることが好ましい。

Claims (28)
- 熱処理(2,3,55)とUV照射処理(4)を組み合わせて適用することで、流体媒体(1)を滅菌し、場合によりウイルスを不活性化する連続方法であって、
流体媒体の熱処理は、40〜135℃の滅菌温度で行い、照射処理は、5〜300W/m2の照射密度で行う連続方法。 - 流体媒体は、滅菌温度にて最長50秒までの時間保持される請求項1に記載の連続方法。
- 流体媒体は、滅菌温度に加熱され、滅菌温度にて処理された後、冷却され、該加熱と冷却は、各々0.1〜10秒以内にて、相互に独立して行われる請求項1に記載の連続方法。
- 熱処理は、加熱(2)、温度保持(55)及び冷却(3)の逐次工程にて行われ、UV照射処理(4)は、熱処理の間に行われる請求項1に記載の連続方法。
- 熱処理は、k>1000W/m2*Kの熱伝導率を有する高性能熱交換器を用いて行われる請求項3に記載の連続方法。
- 一又はそれ以上の該処理工程は、GMPに基づいて清浄にされた予め滅菌された使い捨て反応器を用いて行われる請求項5に記載の連続方法。
- 場合により温度保持セクション(55)を有する少なくとも一の熱処理反応器(2)、UV照射反応器(4)及び冷却反応器(3)を含んで成る請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法を行うための装置であって、
少なくとも熱処理反応器とUV照射反応器の各々は、硬質で、まっすぐな円筒形の支持体(6)の壁に対して、緊密に引き入れられる、変形可能な、らせん状の輪郭を有する中空円筒(5)から作られ、流体媒体(1)が通過する、滅菌及び/又は不活性化チャンバー(8)を含んで成り、
熱処理反応器の円筒形の支持体は、熱伝導性材料から作られ、UV照射反応器の円筒形の支持体は、UV照射に対し透明である装置。 - 該変形可能、らせん状中空円筒(5)は、該流体媒体を供給及び排出するために、分配ヘッド(9,10)に、その両方の端部にて接続されている波形プラスチックホースである請求項7に記載の装置。
- 該分配ヘッド(9,10)は、分配ヘッド(9,10)とサポートパイプ(6)との間の環状ギャップ(13)にデッドスペースを有することなく、接線方向又は半径方向の製品の供給ライン及び排出ラインを有する請求項8に記載の装置。
- 分配ヘッド(9,10)は、波形ホースの熱変形によってホースの端部から加工され、あるいは射出成形もしくは延伸又は射出成形と延伸の組み合わせによって生産され加工されるプラスチック材料から作られ、外側から押圧されるO−リング接続(32,5,33)を用いて、円筒状に広げられるホース端部にプレス嵌めを用いて接続される請求項8に記載の装置。
- 該波形ホースは、外側ジャケット(21)又は補強材(50)を有する請求項8記載の装置。
- 該外側ジャケット(21)は、収縮性プラスチックチューブ、プラスチックホース上に押し込まれているパイプ、又は2−パート円筒形シェルによって形成され、該補強材は、鋼又はプラスチックコイルから形成される請求項8に記載の装置。
- 該UV反応器は、円筒形支持体(6)内にエネルギー源として一又はそれ以上のUVエミッター(25)を含んで成り、円筒形支持体(6)は、UV光に透明な材料から作られ、場合によりUV反応器は該変形可能らせん状の中空円筒(5)として波形プラスチックホースを有する請求項7に記載の装置。
- 製品に照射するUVエネルギーを観察するために、分配ヘッド(9,10)に形成され、O−リング接続(31,64)を介して分配ヘッド(9,10)にシールされる窓(64)を更に含んで成る請求項7に記載の装置。
- 製品チャンバー内に照射するUV照射強度を検知するために、分配ヘッド(9,10)に組み込まれたUVセンサー(26,27)を更に含んで成る請求項14に記載の装置。
- 該熱処理反応器(2)は、支持体(34)として熱伝達材料から形成されたパイプと、該変形可能らせん状中空円筒としてプラスチックから作られた波形ホース(5)を含んで成る請求項7に記載の装置。
- サポートパイプ(34)を通る熱伝達流体の流れのために、断面を狭くするため、熱処理反応器(2)のサポートパイプ(34)の中央に組み込まれる挿入要素(35,43)を更に含んで成る請求項7に記載の装置。
- 該挿入要素(35,43)は、ネジ又はバヨネットクロージャー(44,45)によって、取り外し可能に接続され、サポートパイプ(34)の内側空間をシールする端部フランジ接続部を有する請求項17に記載の装置。
- 該挿入要素(35,43)は、熱伝達流体用の半径方向ディストリビューター(40)を有する請求項18に記載の装置。
- 挿入要素(35,43)は、らせん状の内側の輪郭を有する請求項17に記載の装置。
- サポートパイプ(62)は、一の端部で閉じられ、他の端部で開いており、該他の開いている端部にて、熱伝達流体用の入口及び出口を有する挿入要素(35,43,52)を有するサポートパイプ(62)を、該熱処理反応器は含んで成る請求項7に記載の装置。
- 挿入要素(35,43,52)は、入口ラインがパイプの内側に接続され、出口ラインが挿入要素とサポートパイプ(62)との間のギャップ(47)に接続されているフランジを付けられたパイプを含んで成る請求項21に記載の装置。
- 該熱伝達反応器は、サポートパイプ(63)の中に挿入されている電気加熱源(57)を含んで成る請求項7に記載の装置。
- 該加熱源(57)と該サポートパイプ(63)との間に、熱伝達媒体(59)で満たされている環状ギャップ(47)を更に含んで成る請求項23に記載の装置。
- 加熱源(57)を該サポートパイプに挿入する際に、または該加熱源を動作する際に、排出される熱伝達流体(59)を受け取るように適合されているサポートパイプ(63)に接続されている受け容器(58)を更に含んで成る請求項24に記載の装置。
- 該熱処理反応器(2)は、熱伝達媒体温度、製品温度又は両方を測定するために、PT100抵抗センサー(60,61)を有する入口及び出口を含んで成る請求項7に記載の装置。
- 該センサー(60,61)は、熱伝達媒体ストリーム、製品ストリーム、又は両方の流量調節器に接続されている請求項26に記載の装置。
- 該流体媒体は、食品、乳製品、果汁製品、化学製品又は薬剤製品、ウイルスワクチン、遺伝子工学によって生産される活性物質又はタンパク質、トランスジェニック動物又は植物、及び血漿プラズマ、又は血漿プラズマから得られる生産物から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
