Abstract

Description
(1)多孔性の有機ポリマー層が実質的に20%から実質的に50%までの範囲内の有孔率を有する、請求項1記載の整形外科的器具。
(2)多孔性の有機ポリマー層の孔の大部分が実質的に10μmから実質的に400μmまでの範囲内の直径を有する、請求項1記載の整形外科的器具。
(3)多孔性の有機ポリマー層が開いた孔の構造を有する、請求項1記載の整形外科的器具。
(4)高分子材料製の本体部材の第1の部分の有孔率は実質的に20%から実質的に50%までである、請求項2記載の整形外科的器具。
(5)第1の部分の孔の大部分が実質的に10μmから実質的に400μmまでの範囲内の直径を有する、上記実施態様(4)記載の整形外科的器具。
(7)高分子材料製の本体部材が滅菌されている、請求項2記載の整形外科的器具。
(8)高分子材料製のベアリングコンポーネントの第1の層が超高分子量ポリエチレンを含む、請求項3記載の整形外科的器具。
(9)高分子材料製のベアリングコンポーネントの第2の層が架橋結合された超高分子量ポリエチレンを含む、請求項3記載の整形外科的器具。
(10)高分子材料製のベアリングコンポーネントの第1の層の有孔率が実質的に20%から実質的に50%までである、上記実施態様(9)記載の整形外科的器具。
(12)高分子材料製のベアリングコンポーネントの第1の層が超高分子量ポリエチレンを含み、
高分子材料製のベアリングコンポーネントの第2の層が架橋結合された超高分子量ポリエチレンを含む、請求項3記載の整形外科的器具。
(13)高分子材料製のベアリングコンポーネントの第1の層がポリメチルメタクリレートを含む、請求項3記載の整形外科的器具。
(14)高分子材料製のベアリングコンポーネントの第1の層がポリメチルメタクリレートを含み、
高分子材料製のベアリングコンポーネントの第2の層が架橋結合された超高分子量ポリエチレンを含む、請求項3記載の整形外科的器具。
(15)高分子材料製の本体部材の第1の層が開いた孔の構造を有する、請求項3記載の整形外科的器具。
(16)孔を生ずるものが水溶性ポリマーおよび塩を含む、請求項4記載の方法。
(17)孔を生ずるものを溶媒に接触させる前に、第1の有機ポリマー層を圧縮成形によって第2の有機ポリマー層に一体的に取り付ける過程をさらに有する、請求項4記載の方法。

Claims (4)
- 多孔性の有機ポリマー層と実質的に無孔の有機ポリマー層とを有し、(1)上記多孔性の有機ポリマー層が上記実質的に無孔の有機ポリマー層に取り付けられていて、(2)上記実質的に無孔の有機ポリマー層が画定されたベアリング面を含む、整形外科的ベアリング
を有する、移植可能な整形外科的器具。 - 第1の部分および上記第1の部分に一体的に取り付けられた第2の部分を含み、(1)上記第1の部分が画定された複数の孔を有し、(2)上記第2の部分が実質的に孔を有さず、(3)上記第2の部分がベアリング面を画定する面を有する、高分子材料製の本体部材
を有する、移植可能な整形外科的器具。 - 第2の層が取り付けられた第1の層を有し、(1)上記第2の層は画定されたベアリング面を有し、(2)上記第1の層は第1の有孔率を有し、(3)上記第2の層は第2の有孔率を有し、(4)上記第1の有孔率は上記第2の有孔率より大きい、高分子材料製のベアリングコンポーネント
を有する、移植可能な整形外科的器具。 - 第2の有機ポリマー層に取り付けられた第1の有機ポリマー層を有し、(1)上記第1の有機ポリマー層が第1の有孔率を有し、(2)上記第2の有機ポリマー層が第2の有孔率を有し、(3)上記第1の有孔率は上記第2の有孔率より大きい、移植可能な高分子材料製の整形外科的器具の製造方法であって、
孔を生ずるものを上記第1の有機ポリマー層に埋め込む過程と、
上記孔を生ずるものを溶媒に接触させて上記第1の有機ポリマー層内に孔を生成する過程と
を有する、整形外科的器具の製造方法。
