Claims (11)
- 医療用インプラントに用いられる重合性材料を製造する方法であって、
a)重合体状材料に電離放射線を照射することにより、架橋された重合体状材料を形成し、
b)前記重合性材料に、拡散により、酸化防止剤を添加することにより、酸化防止剤が添加された、架橋重合性材料を形成し、そして
c)前記酸化防止剤が添加された、架橋重合性材料を、液体環境中においてアニーリングする、
ことを含んでなる、方法。 - 医療用インプラントに用いられる重合性材料を製造する方法であって、
a)重合性材料に、拡散により、酸化防止剤を添加することにより、酸化防止剤が添加された、重合性材料を形成し、
b)前記酸化防止剤が添加された、重合性材料を、液体環境中においてアニーリングし、そして、
c)前記酸化防止剤が添加された、重合性材料に、電離放射線を照射することにより、酸化防止剤が添加された、架橋重合体状材料を形成する、ことを含んでなる、方法。 - 前記インプラントが、寛骨臼ライナー、肩関節窩、膝蓋骨成分、指関節成分、踝関節成分、肘関節成分、手首関節成分、足指関節成分、二極人工股関節、頸骨膝挿入物、補強金属とポリエチレンポストとを備えた頸骨膝挿入物、椎間板、縫合、腱、心臓弁、ステント、血管移植片からなる群から選択される医療機器を含んでなる、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化防止剤がビタミンEである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化防止剤がα−トコフェロールである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記重合体状材料を、別の部品または医療用インプラントに圧縮成形することにより、界面または連結ハイブリッド材料を形成する、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記アニーリングする前の、酸化防止剤の添加が、酸化防止剤−エマルション中または酸化防止剤−溶液中において行われる、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化防止剤が添加された重合体状材料のアニーリングが、水中、酸化防止剤−エマルション中、または、酸化防止剤−溶液中において、室温と、水、前記エマルションの親水性成分、または前記酸化防止剤溶液に使用する溶剤の沸点と、の間の温度で行われる、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化防止剤が添加された重合体状材料のアニーリングが、水中、酸化防止剤−エマルション中、または酸化防止剤−溶液中において、約1分間〜約30日間行われる、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 請求項1または2に記載の重合性材料を機械加工することを含んでなる医療用インプラントの製造方法であって、前記重合性材料が、電離放射線の照射前、酸化防止剤の添加後、または液体環境中でのアニーリング後、機械加工される、請求項1または41に記載の方法。
- 前記医療用インプラントを包装し、電離放射線またはガス滅菌により滅菌することにより、無菌の架橋医療用インプラントを形成する、請求項10に記載の方法。
