Abstract
【解決手段】薬品混和槽2には、処理対象である原水aが導入されるとともに、公知の硫酸アルミニウムやポリ塩化アルミニウムなどの凝集剤bが注入され、撹拌、混合される凝集剤混合部21と、次いで凝集剤を混合した凝集剤注入水が通過するフロック成長部22が設けられていて、凝集剤注入水はフロック処理水dとして排出されるのであるが、このフロック成長部22には、凝集剤注入水中のフロックの成長を促進するための複数の通水貫通孔31を透設した通水部材3を配置した。

また、本発明のフロック形成装置は、前記通水部材がセラミックハニカムである形態や、前記通水部材を複数個、間隔を設けて配置した形態に好ましく具体化することができる。
本発明はこの実施形態において、原水aと凝集剤bとが混和される薬品混和槽2の内部にフロックを成長させるための通水部材3を配置した構造に具体化されている。すなわち、その特徴とするところは、この薬品混和槽2には、処理対象である原水aが導入されるとともに、公知の硫酸アルミニウムやポリ塩化アルミニウムなどの凝集剤bが注入され、撹拌、混合される凝集剤混合部21と、次いで凝集剤を混合した凝集剤注入水がフロックの濃縮を伴い通過するフロック成長部22が設けられていて、凝集剤注入水はフロック処理水dとして排出されるのであるが、このフロック成長部22には、凝集剤注入水中のフロックの成長を促進するための複数の通水貫通孔31を透設した通水部材3を配置した点にある。
先ず、粒子径がコロイドレベルの微細なSS粒子は、通常マイナスの電荷を持ち、反発力によって沈降することなく安定に存在している原水aが凝集剤混合部21に導入され、ここに硫酸アルミニウムのような凝集剤bが注入されると、凝集剤のプラスの電荷(硫酸アルミニウムのアルミニウムイオン)によってSS粒子の電荷が電気的に中和され、反発力が消滅することから相互に凝集して、先ずマイクロフロックが形成されるようになる。
貫通孔に分散され、マイクロフロックの相互の接触頻度が増加し、貫通孔内層流下においてフロック同士の接触効率がさらに増加し、またフロック自体の濃縮効果もあいまってフロックの成長が促進されるものと推測される。
また、図1の事例では、薬品混和槽2には、凝集剤混合部21とフロック成長部22とを一体的に配置しているが、本発明ではこの形態に限定されず、凝集剤混合部21とフロック成長部22とを個別に独立して配置できるのは言うまでもない。
具体的には、前記通水部材として、SSが透過できない無数の濾過細孔を有す多孔質セラミックス材料に複数の通水貫通孔を透設した濾過フィルタ、例えばモノリス型セラミック膜フィルタを用いれば、この通水貫通孔によって前記したように、凝集剤注入水中のフロックの形成と成長を促すとともに、この通水貫通孔と外部との間に差圧によって膜フィルタとして作用し、凝集剤注入水中のSSをフロックを含めて分離し、濾過水を得ることができる。

Claims (3)
- 原水に凝集剤を注入し混和した凝集剤注入水を固液分離するようにした水処理システムにおいて、凝集剤注入水の流路に、その凝集剤注入水がフロックの濃縮を伴いながら通過する複数の通水貫通孔を透設した通水部材を配置したことを特徴とするフロック形成装置。
- 前記通水部材がセラミックハニカムである請求項1に記載のフロック形成装置。
- 前記通水部材を複数個、間隔を設けて配置した請求項1または2に記載のフロック形成装置。
