Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明は、正極板、負極板及び前記正極板と負極板間に介在されたセパレータを具備する電極組立体を電解液と共に収容し、キャップ組立体によりその上端開口部が密封され、伝導性金属材で形成された缶と、この缶の外部底面に接合された底プレートと、一端部が缶の外部底面に接合され、他端部が安全装置と連結されて缶を安全装置と電気的に連結するリードプレートと、を具備するリチウム二次電池である。これにより、缶とリードプレートとが直接接合されるので電池の電圧降下を最小化できる。また、リードプレートを缶の外部底面に溶接する時、リードプレートの溶接位置が底プレートにより決定されるためにその作業性が改善される。

Claims (17)
- 正極板、負極板及び前記正極板と負極板間に介在されたセパレータを具備する電極組立体を電解液と共に収容し、キャップ組立体によりその上端開口部が密封され、伝導性金属材で形成された缶と、前記缶の外部底面に接合された底プレートと、一端部が前記缶の外部底面に接合され、他端部が安全装置と連結されて前記缶を安全装置と電気的に連結するリードプレートと、を具備することを特徴とするリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートの一端部は前記缶の外部底面と前記底プレートとの間に介在されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記底プレートは前記缶の外部底面に溶接された溶接部と、収容部と前記缶の外部底面との間に前記リードプレートの一端部を収容する収容部と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記収容部は前記溶接部から折曲がって延びたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記缶はアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項2ないし4のうちいずれか1項に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートはニッケルまたはニッケル合金で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートと前記底プレートとの間、及び前記リードプレートと前記缶の外部底面との間は抵抗溶接されたことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートはアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートと前記底プレートとの間、及び前記リードプレートと前記缶の外部底面との間は超音波溶接されたことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートはアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成されたクラッド層と、前記クラッド層上に形成され、かつニッケルまたはニッケル合金で形成されたリード層と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リード層と前記底プレートとの間、及び前記クラッド層と前記缶の外部底面との間は抵抗溶接または超音波溶接されたことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートと前記底プレートとは互いに分離され、前記缶の外部底面にそれぞれ接合されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記缶はアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項12に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートはアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートと前記缶の外部底面との間は超音波溶接されたことを特徴とする請求項14に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リードプレートはアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成されたクラッド層と、前記クラッド層上に形成され、かつニッケルまたはニッケル合金で形成されたリード層と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記クラッド層と前記缶の外部底面との間は超音波溶接されたことを特徴とする請求項16に記載のリチウム二次電池。
