Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の二次電池1は、電極組立体22を収容する缶20と、缶20の上端開口部を密封するキャッププレート31と、ベアセル10の上部に設置された保護回路基板50と、保護回路基板50をキャッププレート31に結合する樹脂モールディング部60とを含み、樹脂モールディング部60が結合するための係止突起39をベアセル10のキャッププレート31に形成したことを特徴とする。

Claims (13)
- 陽極板、陰極板及び前記陽極板と前記陰極板とを絶縁させるセパレータが順次巻き取られた電極組立体と、前記電極組立体を収容する缶と、前記缶の上端開口部を密封するキャッププレートと前記キャッププレートに形成された端子通孔にガスケットを介在した状態で挿入される電極端子とを含むキャップ組立体とを備えたベアセルと、前記ベアセルの上部に設置された保護回路基板と、前記ベアセルのキャッププレートと前記保護回路基板との間に充填され、前記保護回路基板を前記キャッププレートに結合する樹脂モールディング部とを含む二次電池であって、
前記ベアセルのキャッププレートは、前記樹脂モールディング部を保持するための係止部を備えた係止突起を含むことを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記係止突起の係止部は、前記係止突起の上端部に形成され、前記キャッププレートと並行な方向に延設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記係止突起の断面は、T字状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記係止突起は、前記キャッププレートの上面の両端部に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャッププレート及び前記係止突起は、アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 陽極板、陰極板及び前記陽極板と前記陰極板とを絶縁させるセパレータが順次巻き取られた電極組立体と、前記電極組立体を収容する缶と、前記缶の上端開口部を密封するキャッププレートと前記キャッププレートに形成された端子通孔にガスケットを介在した状態で挿入される電極端子とを含むキャップ組立体とを備えたベアセルと、前記ベアセルの上部に設置された保護回路基板と、前記ベアセルのキャッププレートと前記保護回路基板との間に充填され、前記保護回路基板を前記キャッププレートに結合する樹脂モールディング部とを含む二次電池であって、
前記キャップ組立体の電極端子には少なくとも1つ以上の係止段が形成され、前記ベアセルのキャッププレートには前記樹脂モールディング部を保持するための係止部を備えた係止突起が形成されていることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記係止突起の係止部は、前記係止突起の上端部に形成され、前記キャッププレートと並行な方向に延設されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記係止突起の断面は、T字状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の二次電池。
- 前記係止突起は、前記キャッププレートの上面の両端部に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項6乃至請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャッププレート及び前記係止突起は、アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項6乃至請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極端子は、前記端子通孔を貫通するボディ部と、前記ボディ部の上端に位置して幅方向に延設されたヘッド部とから構成され、前記係止段は前記ヘッド部の下面に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項6乃至請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極端子のヘッド部の幅は、前記ガスケットの幅よりも長く延設されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の二次電池。
- 缶の内部に電極組立体及び電解液を収容し、前記缶の上端開口部にキャッププレートを含むキャップ組立体を組み立てる二次電池の製造方法において、
前記キャッププレートに下面から上側方向に向かってプレス加工を施して前記キャッププレートの上面に係止突起のボディ部を突設するステップと、
前記キャッププレートの上面に突設された係止突起の下端部を支持台によって支持するステップと、
前記係止突起の上側からパンチを下降させて前記係止突起の上端部を打撃し、前記係止突起の上端部の断面積を拡張させて係止部を形成するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする二次電池の製造方法。
