Abstract

【課題】熱可塑性合成材料からなる導管構成部材を導管に電気溶接プロセスで結合可能にしたこの電気溶接スリーブを得る。
【解決手段】電気溶接スリーブ3を2個の結合領域4,5により構成し、第1結合領域4を導管構成部材2に結合可能に構成し、第2結合領域5を前記導管Lに結合可能に構成し、第1結合領域4の溶接領域9を、第2結合領域5の溶接領域10よりも短くする。更に、第1結合領域4の冷間ゾーン11を第2結合領域5の冷間ゾーン12よりも短くし、電気溶接スリーブ3を非対称形状とする。電気溶接スリーブ3の第2結合領域5に、熱導体コイル10を外部電流源に接続するための少なくとも2個の差し込み接続部6を設ける。更に、電気溶接スリーブ3の前記第2結合領域5に、溶融プロセスを監視するための溶融インジケータ7を設ける。

【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、熱塑性合成材料からなる導管を接合する電気溶接スリーブに関するものであり、このスリーブは電気溶接プロセスによって導管に結合する。

【従来の技術】
配管工事では熱塑性合成材料製の導管を使用することが増大している。小さい直径に分岐及び湾曲する際に、並びに直径が変化する際に、導管部分を導管構成部材(基本要素)を介して結合する。導管と導管構成部材との間の結合は、電気溶接プロセスによって行うことがよくある。ガス、水、並びに空気、汚水及び他の化学薬品のために、規格化された多くの導管直径から導管を選択入手できる。直径が大きくなればなるほど、個別の導管部分との連結にはコストが増大することになる。

ヨーロッパ特許第382971号には電気溶接可能な曲管が記載されている。2管端部間に、入口と出口の間に45゜の角度をなす曲管を電気溶接によって溶接する。同様に管端部が45゜曲がっている場合もある。このような特別な導管端部ではなく真っ直ぐな管端部の導管しか入手できないとき、45゜以上の角度をなす多くの曲管及び溶接作業が必要となる。多くの曲管の代わりに個別の部分を製造するとき、このような成形に対する費用は増大する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従って、本発明の目的は、コスト的に有利に製造することができ、また、簡単に媒体漏れがなく導管相互を結合することができる電気溶接スリーブを得るにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この目的を達成するため、本発明は熱可塑性合成材料からなる導管構成部材のための電気溶接スリーブであって、導管に電気溶接プロセスで結合可能にした電気溶接スリーブにおいて、この電気溶接スリーブを非対称形状に構成したことを特徴とする。

配管工事で電気溶接スリーブはできるだけ少ないスペースを必要とするだけであるという利点がある。本発明によれば、電気溶接スリーブは、導管構成部材に結合する第1結合領域に導管に結合する第2結合領域よりも短い溶接ゾーンを設ける。更に、電気溶接スリーブの導管構成部材に結合する第1結合領域には、導管に結合する第2結合領域の冷間ゾーンよりも短い冷間ゾーンを設ける。

電気溶接可能な形状部分は、通常多くの個数が製造される。これまで、コスト的に有利であり、また再現性良好に製造でき、品質の点でも保証される方法としては射出成形プロセスがある。しかし、この射出成形は費用がかかるという欠点がある。構成部材が大きくなるほど、必要とされる金型及び成形機も大型化し重量も重くなる。従って、射出成形は経済的にも技術的にも限界がある。導管直径が110mm以上の標準導管構成部材と組み合わせた本発明による非対称電気溶接スリーブを使用することにより、射出成形のための金型製造にかかるコストを節約することができるようになる。非対称電気溶接スリーブはできるだけ短い構成とし、製造者側でで各所望の標準導管構成部材と結合する。

製造者側で標準導管構成部材を非対称電気溶接スリーブを予め組み付けることにより、電気溶接プロセスのための溶接条件を正確に維持することができる。製造業者側の製造によって、安全性確保のために現場で付加する必要がなくなる。製造業者側ではエンドユーザーが行うよりもより小さい製造公差を維持できるため、媒体、プロセス又は配管網事業者に課される要求も、長さ寸法が短くなり、また狭い嵌め合わせで満たすことができるようになる。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、図面につき本発明の好適な実施の形態を説明する。

図1は、標準曲管2よりなる導管構成部材1と、2個の電気溶接スリーブ3,3′とを示す。図1に示す曲管2は、互いに90゜の角度をなす2個の真っ直ぐな導管部分を結合することができる。この導管構成部材1により市販の導管相互を結合することができる。個別の導管部分は前処理をする必要はほとんどない。単に、導管壁の端面を導管軸線に対して直角をなすよう切断及び/又は平面状にするだけである。90゜の角度を付けた曲管の代わりに、他の特徴のある導管構成部材を使用することもでき、例えば、湾曲又は直線状の管継手、縮径継手、角度付き、継手、T字状継手又はいわゆる十字状継手を使用することができる。

電気溶接スリーブ3には2個の結合領域4,5を設ける。製造者側で標準曲管2を結合するために使用する第1の結合領域4は第2結合領域5よりも短くし、この第2結合領域5は建設現場で使用者が図示しない導管部分に結合できるようにするためのものである。第2結合領域5には、第1結合領域4とは反対側で明確に視認できる電流源のための接続部6,6′を設ける。第2結合領域5には更に、視認し易い位置に溶融インジケータ7を設ける。電気溶接スリーブ3,3′は、長さ寸法及び結合領域4,5の実施に関して非対称に構成する。

図2には非対称電気溶接スリーブ3の全体斜視図を示す。電気溶接スリーブ3の内側には、第2結合領域5に突き合わせる導管の端部部分のための段差部8又は止め部が見える。更に、電気溶接スリーブ3は長さが異なる2個の結合領域4,5により構成する。

図3には非対称電気溶接スリーブ3の断面を示す。溶接スリーブ3の内壁に隣接して2個の加熱コイル9,10を示す。第1結合領域4には、間隔を比較的密にして巻き付けた第1加熱コイル9と、図面では見えない電気的接続部とを設け、第2結合領域5には、比較的粗にして巻き付けた第2加熱コイル10と、電流源のための接続部6,6′とを設ける。更に、いわゆる冷間ゾーン11,12がスリーブ3の内面に存在し、第2結合領域5では第1結合領域よりも長い範囲にわたり冷間ゾーンが存在する。図3には第1加熱コイル9と第1冷間ゾーン11を有する第1結合領域4を示し、この第1結合領域4の長さは電気溶接スリーブ3の全体長さの約2/7にわたる。第2加熱コイル10及び第2冷間ゾーン12をゆる第2結合領域5は第1結合領域4よりも約2.5倍長い。冷間ゾーン11,12は、内側の冷間ゾーンと外側の冷間ゾーンを異ならせることができる。図3に示すように、第2結合領域5に第2内側冷間ゾーン12a及び第2外側冷間ゾーン12bを示す。

従来の対称的形状の電気溶接スリーブに対して、溶接スリーブ3の長さを約30%低減させることもできる。この長さ寸法の節約により、110mmの導管直径に関して、重量及び材料の大幅な節約をもたらすことができる。長さ寸法の節約によれば、標準導管構成部材2と非対称スリーブ3との間の結合を、製造業者が射出成形直後に行うことができ、使用者が現場で結合する必要はなくなる。製造業者主導で行うこのような状況の下では、第1加熱コイル9にエネルギを供給するための温度管理プログラム、及び材料部分を正確に結合する上での即ち、位置決めのための押圧力管理プログラムのような溶接条件は、安全率の割り増しがない、また公差範囲が狭いという溶接条件を満たすことができる。建設現場環境毎の相違点に対して製造業者は特別な安全装置を設けることができ、これにより、より高い電圧及び大がかりなまたコンピュータ制御の位置決めツールを使用して結合を行うことができるようになる。製造業者においては、溶接条件を正確に遵守し、また現場で制御しなければならないため、公差範囲内の寸法で安全かつ規定通りの結合のための保証が得られる。製造業者における第1結合領域4の溶接によれば、材料と時間の節約をもたらすことができる。建築現場でのエンドユーザーは、極めて高い安全性の結合を少ない時間と少ない労力で行うことができる。

導管構成部材1を標準曲管2と非対称電気溶接スリーブ3に分割することによって、より大きい導管直径を製造する際のコストを節約することができる。非対称の電気溶接スリーブ3はほぼ円筒形の形状であり、簡単に製造することができる。合成材料の射出成形及び中子に対する資金はより経済的に運用することができる。流れを方向転換させる導管構成部材を形成するための経費は僅かである。電気溶接スリーブ3は他の結合用途にも使用される導管構成部材とも結合することができる。

非対称の電気溶接スリーブ3は、更に、2個の結合領域をそれぞれ2個の異なる結合体と結合することによっても非対称にすることができる。エンドユーザーが現場で結合を行う第2結合領域5は、電気溶接プロセスによって結合する。このために適合する市販の電気溶接装置を入手することができる。製造業者が結合する第1結合領域4は、例えば、誘導溶接プロセスで結合することができる。誘導溶接プロセスは長年知られており、しかし、誘導磁界を発生するための装置が重くて扱いにくいので建設現場で実施するには困難がある。導管直径が約110mmの大きい導管によって必要とする導管に接続するには現場に通常使用れれている発電装置を設置しなければならない。

しかし、製造側で結合を行う第1結合領域4にはこのような問題は生じない。電流で誘導発熱させる誘導溶接プロセスのために、銅線又は金属合金製の熱導体9の代わりに、特別製の合金よりなる物体をスリーブの第1結合領域4に組み込む。この物体は誘導磁界によって発熱することができる。この物体は規定の温度に達すると磁気的性質が変化し、誘導磁界では発熱できなくなる。

図4、図5及び図6には、非対称電気溶接スリーブ3の詳細を示す。図4には第2結合領域5の部分を拡大して示す。第2結合領域5の外周には2個の電気的差し込みプラグ13を設ける。これにより、現場で電気溶接に必要な電流源に接続することができる。電気溶接スリーブ3の外側には、更に、溶融インジケータ14を設ける。この溶融インジケータ7,14によりユーザーは現場で、電気溶接スリーブ3と導管部分との間の溶接領域における合成材料が十分溶融したか否かを監視することができる。

図6には抵抗熱導体16を若干数巻き込んだコイル15を示し、このコイルは例えば、二本巻きにして配置する。加熱コイル9,10には互いに隣接する2個の卷回導線16をも同時に巻き付け、2個の個別導線の端部を相互に接続する。短い第1結合領域4には差し込み接続部6,13も溶融インジケータ7,14も必要がない。即ち、この第1結合領域4は製造業者の作業で標準導管構成部材に結合するからである。製造業者の作業では温度条件及び時間に関連する押圧条件を、他の技術例えば、コンピュータ制御加工に基づいて正確に監視する。

非対称電気溶接スリーブ3は汎用的に組み付けることができる。標準導管に結合するため、電気溶接スリーブは、少なくとも第2結合領域5に、規格で決められた直径の導管に適合する直径を有する導管を布設する。非対称電気溶接スリーブ3は、通常の規格寸法でない導管及び/又は導管構成部材にも結合することができる。例えば、図7には、いわゆる再内張り目的に使用する電気溶接スリーブ3を示す。既に破損しており内張り被覆で改修された導管は、改修後の内張り被覆領域において規格外の外径を有する。非対称電気溶接スリーブ3によれば、規格通りの外径を有する導管構成部材から規格外の外径を有する他の構成部材へと移行することができる。

Claims (11)

  1. 熱可塑性合成材料からなる導管構成部材のための電気溶接スリーブ(3)であって、導管(L)に電気溶接プロセスで結合可能にした電気溶接スリーブにおいて、この電気溶接スリーブ(3)を非対称形状に構成したことを特徴とする電気溶接スリーブ。
  2. 前記電気溶接スリーブ(3)を2個の結合領域(4,5)により構成し、第1結合領域(4)を導管構成部材(2)に結合可能に構成し、第2結合領域(5)を前記導管(L)に結合可能に構成した請求項1記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
  3. 前記第1結合領域(4)の溶接領域(9)を、前記第2結合領域(5)の溶接領域(10)よりも短くした請求項1又は2記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
  4. 前記第1結合領域(4)の冷間ゾーン(11)を前記第2結合領域(5)の冷間ゾーン(12)よりも短くした請求項1乃至3のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
  5. 前記電気溶接スリーブ(3)の前記第1結合領域(4)を誘導溶接プロセスによって前記導管構成部材(2)に結合可能に構成した請求項1乃至4のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
  6. 前記電気溶接スリーブ(3)の前記第1結合領域(4)と第2結合領域(5)との間の内周に段差部(8)を設けた請求項1乃至5のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
  7. 前記電気溶接スリーブ(3)の前記第2結合領域(5)に、熱導体コイル(10)を外部電流源に接続するための少なくとも2個の差し込み接続部(6,13)を設けた請求項1乃至6のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
  8. 前記電気溶接スリーブ(3)の前記第2結合領域(5)に、溶融プロセスを監視するための溶融インジケータ(7,14)を設けた請求項1乃至7のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
  9. 前記第2結合領域(5)の内径を100mmよりも大きくした請求項1乃至8のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
  10. 前記熱導体コイル(9,10)を互いに隣接する2個の個別導体を対にして卷回した個別導体により構成し、これら個別導体の巻線端部を相互に接続した請求項1乃至9のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
  11. 前記電気溶接スリーブを、100mmよりも大きい任意の外径を有する導管及び/又は導管構成部材に結合する構成とした請求項1乃至10のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気溶接スリーブ。
